Oooh this looks like it´ll be a great thread - pity I have to go out now and no time to think of any good questions.  I bet it´ll be up to 5 pages by the time I come back tonight!

Cheers!  {#lang_emotions_alcoholics}  I´ll have a drink for you all!!

The question I would like to ask, is why people think I am against Turks when, quite clearly, my main problem is with sanctimonious Brits on this site!

what am I giving people that is likeable and loveable.

but it would be a pure hypocracy to give people these.

I know through private dialogues that it is not just me who gets irritated by your insolent remarks and your capacity to turn peace into hatred.

but i also know other people who think opposite

You should see a monk or a cardinal if you would like to confess.

and are you going to see a doctor? ;(

The annoying thing is, you are both great people!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!  Maybe it is sexual tension between you two

Please stop this now - there are far more important things (like Turkish weddings) to discuss

It is just that I am not one of them. So, it is not a good idea to try to gain my friendship when it is almost certain that such a friendship will end up in the next dust bin.

OH Great Vineyards.....now I will spend the weekend with femme eating ice cream and crying over why you don´t like her!  Is there any way you can name one quality you like about her?  It would give her something to hang on to!

AEnigma.....please bring a gallon of chocolate....I will bring a gallon of vanilla!

Comedy Channel on Digiturk runs whole blocks of old (and not so old) British comedies.  The V of D was on every day for a couple of weeks - its a bit like Fawlty Towers - doesn´t matter how many times I watch it it still creases me up!

Yes I did The only episode I ever missed (as far as I know) are the 2 before that one (If i remember well), one was a charity thingy and one was the christmas special. I was in Turkey at the time and we only had BBC Prime which didnt work well at the time. This summer though, I discovered they broadcast Fawlty Towers, My family and Since youve been gone (or something) there as well

Yes I know.. Ive seen ALL sorts of British series that I used to watch here, from Silent Witness to Dalziel and Pascoe, on paid television in TR. Such a shame we are still students and that the money we had for paid television went to Ligtv lol

Come on, tell us the truth - you were watching Nanny and the theme song goes "(...)she´s the LADY IN RED when everybody else is wearing tan, the flashy girl from Flushing, the nanny named Fran" lol

And I chose Daydreamer because I loved this quote:

Flirting is an art, and used to be considered good etiquette.  Flirting makes people feeling special, attractive...its a nice way to make people feel better about themselves . Flirting can be with either sex.

Unfortunately, these days it´s considered to be disloyal by jealous and mean people   They think it is merely "chatting up" and will always lead somewhere.
