Turkish Parliament´s Human Rights Committee Chairman Zafer Uskul reacted positively to demands from prisoners about having sex and children in jail. The parliamentary committee has sent applications to the Ministry of Justice. A newly married prisoner, whose initials are M.T., wrote in his letter that he was about to get divorced due to lack of physical contact. "The right to have a child is a natural right such as breathing," he wrote in his letter.

It´s not new for me to hear this, in my country most inmates are allowed to have at least once a month a ´private´ visit. Only those in separation or the ´prisons with extra security´ (for extremely dangerous criminals) have not. What do you think?

Personally, I don´t think prisoners should treated inhumanely but not having sex is hardly inhumane.  People need to think about the consequences of crime before they commit one.....YIKES...I agree with you libralady!
