If you ever get a chance try some Cuban coffee...served in tiny cups.  I don´t drink caffeine typically, but several years ago in Miami had a couple of these.  I was up for 48 hours.....{#lang_emotions_razz}

We are having coffee with my student friends.

Some friends are having :

-Colombian/Brazilian blend

-Blue Mountain, Jamaica

-Turkish coffee

-Greek Coffee

-Cuban coffee

We have good movies while having coffees today.

1-“The Day The Earth Stood Still” , Starring Jennifer Connelly and  Keanu Reeves.This is an interesting film.”They are coming to save the earth from human.”

2-   "Yesterday´s Children”, Starring Jane Seymour.This is a wonderful film.”This is a tragic story about a  Irish family.”

Have you seen these movies?

I recommend!

reading this thread i literally got up (not minding my skinny bottom) and went to the kitchen to check the coffee i received two weeks ago. but since i dont drink hardly any coffee now almost two weeks nobody unpacked it and showed any interest in it.

its called dallmayr kaffee. and i quickly googled it. seems like a good coffee comparable to fortnum&mason. never heard of before.

i will try it as soon as i recover from my disgust to coffee

Enjoy your coffee.

A Turkish proverb:

"Bir fincan kahvenin kýrk yýllýk hatýrý vardýr"

"A cup of coffee commits one to forty years of friendship"

 I will be VERY careful about who I drink coffee with in future then!

TheAenigma , you are right.

But this Turkish proverb is about the really good and honest human in the past.

It is so hard to find good friends like them in the present time.

You should see this new movie "The day The earth Stood Still" about the present human.

And you should see the film"Yesterday´s children" as well. Jane Seymour is a good actress.

My friend bought an espresso machine and was experimenting her own coffees. After drinking espressos everyday for a week, she couldn´t sleep for the next two...

I remember a few years ago when coffee beans that passed through the digestive system of a civet were all the rage. It was and still maybe about $150 per pound. I´ve never tried it. There´s just something really odd about drinking coffee that´s been collected from cat feces. Hmm...{#lang_emotions_puking}
