It is the last day of the year, right? Some are jubilating. Others are binge-drinking. What are you doing on this day? The year was varied in its meanings for you. There were deaths. There were births. There were heart breaks and marriages. There were so many things that made you laugh, so many that made you cry. But how are you taking it all in stride?

 My friend has the ultimate stress busting survival pack:

  • 1 metre long block of chocolate (feel good medication)
  • 1 pack of relaxing bath salts  (a great way to end the day)
  • 1 water pistol  (she has a select hit list . . . mainly the senior management team )

I can assure you she has used them all to great effect

  1. To spend more time working and less time on TC

  2. To stop selling young members of TC to the circus

  3. To join Peacetrain´s Knitting Club

  4. To have more respect for my lazy assed, skiving, overpaid slug of a boss (ooops I guess I broke that one already)

  5. To argue with Tamikidakika at every opportunity {#lang_emotions_ninja}

  6. To continue to be perfect in every way {#lang_emotions_angel}

  1. To join Peacetrain´s Knitting Club

 I did some research for you.  It seems someone is keen to set up a knitting club in the Isle of Wight.

http://www.knittingforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=16276

Interestingly, some members on the site hold their knitting clubs in wine bars!  Seems like a quirky mix of interests going on there and could result in some dropped stitches and "holy" pieces of work

An even more interesting fact:  The first reply to the request was from "geekygirl".  Are you sure you´re not all already members under assumed names? {#lang_emotions_lol_fast}  A parallel world?

Ermmm thank you Peacetrain...yes the IOW is a good place for knitting clubs. I am quite sure there must be 100s, along with Townswoman´s Guilds and Women´s Institutes.  The IOW is over50 heaven!!

 You´re welcome

I see they even had a "Silver Surfers Day" last year . . . a drive to get the over 50s on the internet so it seems even your "world" might be infiltrated anytime .

They were:

1. To quit smoking (again!)

2. To go on a diet (again!)

Can I start on Monday? {#lang_emotions_unsure}
