Hi everyone

After some time myself and partner have decided its time to finally tie the knot! Im also planning on having my wedding in Turkey as there is to many family members on his side

to fly over, my family is also happy to go there.

Although I have some information regarding the wedding ceremony, I have some questions

before we actually set the date.

I am on the understanding that a turkish wedding holds no religious ceremony as it is not classed as legally binding. The ´tukish wedding´ consists of effectively signing a government

book for name changing and then of course the party.

I am just writing to enquire is it possible to have a civil ceremony of any kind?

All information would be appreciated.

Many thanks

I glanced at this thread and thought it said "Internet Wedding Ceremony"

Maybe we could have the first TC Wedding here

(Can I be bridesmaid? )

I would be happy to become ordained and perform a very moving ceremony, personalized just fo the lovely couple. {#lang_emotions_angel}

Apparently all I have to do is order an ID card and pay $250 to be ordained for life and have the ability to perform interfaith, international ceremonies!

(of course I will need to recoup my costs for this but we can discuss incidentals later) {#lang_emotions_ninja}

Intriguing thought.  I wonder if my new ordination allows lesbian marriage.  I think femme and Melek would be a great couple {#lang_emotions_bigsmile}

 First job GG - get yourself ordained double quick.

Then we have to think about virtual outfits to wear.....and flowers....and a nice page for it (perhaps Catwoman can do something weddingy for our virtual wedding to take place in? )
