The most important part of these elections for me is the ballot results from the Southeastern region. This result has shifted the Kurdish issue in a different direction.

Along all these, the psychological campaign pursued by the DTP was very successful as well. The attitude, "Those who feel like a Kurd will vote for us. Not for the AKP. If you vote for the AKP, you’ll lose your Kurdish identity," was very effective. ...

The Kurdish messages were very clear: 

The Kurdish identity is more important than anything else. No matter how much service you supply, the priority is the acceptance of our Kurdish identity. The Kurdish issue will be solved with politics, not weapons. The DTP needs to be our addressee for the Kurdish issue. This party represents us. ..

Let’s not push the DTP outside the system 

If we evaluate the election results with a clear mind, we notice the necessity that ...embrace them and accept them as the addressee for steps to be taken in the Kurdish issue.

Well I can´t speak for Chiko, but I think if I was a Kurdish member here, non PKK supporting, living my ordinary life in Turkey, I would feel you were doing nothing but creating bad feeling and alienating others!

Why have you become so aggressive suddenly TheH ? ..you are being like those members of TC who  can´t bear to be criticised what i meant was in my previous post was that ....why dont you ever try to see other side of coin? yes of course there are many mistakes and crimes happened to Kurds..but will you ever write anything about the mistakes Kurdish have done? just once! so that people can see you are not biased. we ( kurdish ) have not been innocent angels. for example you are writing about DTP but you dont critcise DTP for still defending only kurdish rights but not any other rights like labour or animal rights and for limitting kurdish people´s horizon with only PKK.. for example you never write about kurdish who insist not to adapt modern city life and stay as  to stay as countryman in city...maybe it is hard to see the fact from UK. or maybe you just love conflict, arguing and disagrement.

I am not aggressive at all despite the fact that I am the person who was sweared at all the time..

I dont care coz I voted for the party which will give service to me and my city I dont care what others did. I need good transportation, clean streets, not nonsense statements.

last year, When a child feel into a hole and died in the middle of the city coz of municipality works, I havent seen ur mr mayor (DTP, baydemir), who always talks about human rights like a broken record, said anything about this.

A political party, only doing politics for kurdish ppl, not for others, they have no politics for other ppl in turkey. please dont be funny. stop writing only about kurdish. Turkey is a big country. there are many good things to share.

I have an advice for you Thehandsom, stop being aggresive and provacative. if you want to write something, write something about culture,daily life or interesting stories about this region. We would like to learn cultural differences in turkey and share beautiful things. not only terrorism.

 I think we are all tired of these monotonous threads. I don´t normally comment on this subject but it seems to me that the PKK is causing great harm to the Kurdish cause. Chiko seems to have the right idea and talks a lot of sense.

If Chiko posted about his ideas I would NOT come here and post, saying that ´not to post´ these..

You did not reply to the initial post by a constructive criticism, but you started an aggressive, personal attack, to which theH replied with "I´m not forcing you to read them". is it really hard to share same country and living under same flag by our different identities?????Ýsn´t possible for a Turk feel himself/herself as a Kurd or the same for Kurd???i´m afraid thats a nonsense political fight,nothing more then that...This elections showed us one time more,theres a big sensitivty about identity especially on southeast Turkey and thats the big danger for the future,while peace is waiting us with its all charm...Common sense always better then any identity..

I think that everyone has the right to post topics about things they think are important as long as these posts do not violate the site rules. To read, to reply or to ignore, none of them is compulsory, no one is being forced to do anything s/he doesn´t want to do. I´m not always interested in the Kurdish topics of TheH. nor am I continuously interested in posts about touristy resorts as Alanya or Marmaris, in the zillionst request for translation, in questions about taxes when shipping baggage or whatever. What I like to read and to what I like to reply or not differs by day, depending of my mood and time. Simple solution for this: I see the title or sometimes the name of the person who posted last and I just do not read. Easy, isn´t it? If you think someone and/or his/her postings are boring than don´t punish yourself with reading. Replying with remarks as done here like ´you bore us´, ´many members have left because of this´ I find childish. And like CW said before: if you think a story is biased then add the missing information instead of starting ´pingponging´.

But I have to say, I have come to find your whining quite tiring handsom….although it has, at times, been amusing….your “crying foul” is wearing thin.  You want to act all innocent and say that you only complain when being sworn at but you know full well that you push buttons once certain people say anything against your posts.   As far as I am concerned, you bring some of it on yourself (hhmmmm this could be written to any number of people here really) . 

You have to expect that if you continue to post controversial subjects that you will receive comments that you don´t want to hear.  Get over it.

Well you might be finding my complaints about people swearing at me quite tiring. But it is more tiring and annoying for me to hear them.

If  someone posts something and if the others are coming with swearings instead of posting a counter argument and you say the swearing itself is part of heated discussion and you should take it, sorry from my part..

As AE said, its a public forum, and regarding to our rules as you know, they can say and pots anything they want, related or not related to the topic too .

What i find it really amýsing, is that when Turks ´as in group´ complain and say what you are saying isnt correct, you claim because they want to hide the facts, and now when also Kurd complain and say you are one sided, you said its none of their business.

Can I ask a question here? This is something I have wanted to understand, but can´t seem to find the answers. Maybe I will get them here.

My question is about the Kurdish people. Actually, there are several questions.

1. Where did the Kurdish people come from? Where they originally from Turkey or from Iraq? My understanding was that they were pushed north by Iraq...but I don´t know if that´s accurate.

2. Is the conflict mainly with the PKK and not the Kurdish people themselves? Again, my understanding is that the PKK is a terriorist group, but maybe I´m also wrong about that.

Forgive my ignorance about this subject, but that´s why I´m asking

neither.  Kurds are Iranians and Iranians come from India and Pakistan.

The conflict is mainly with PKK but there are millions of supporters of this terrorist group inside of Turkey.

Most of them are Kurdish, but there are also non-Kurds who support them inside and outside of Turkey.
