Well I am back, dunno how much contribution my having just seen Issiz Adam has had in this decision but I think my biggest concern for the time being is to lose this grotesque  "the" before my good old nick.

Welcome back!  But what made you pick TheVineyards if you think its so grotesque - you could have just picked ´Vineyard´! (or possibly ´VineyardsII´ as an Aenigma variation )

True. I should have given that a bit more thought.  I had just watched a sad movie and drank two bottles of Syrah in the process.  I could live with this new nick but I don´t want to be so showy offy.

Vineyard is a no go, the original idea had come from a song: Strawberry Fields Forever by Beatles.

The innocent looking "s" there is actually making all the difference being suggestive of loss of control,  and of hedonism.  My nick does not refer to any single vineyards but a multitude of them, placing "the" before it ruins all these aformentioned connotations by incorrectly putting the focus on the nick owner who is now left  in the middle of his vineyard like a scarecrow.

With all the crows shitting on me day in day out, who would care if I dubbed myself His majesty Vineyard the second.

Nice to see you around again too, Canli....where have you been?  As for vineyards....I know some have gotten their original names and account restored.  Wouldn´t it be nice if this could happen in this case too?

Personally, I am feeling sorry he has asked to be deleted..

I always valued Vineyards opinions.

It does not mean that I would agree with him but he was a valuable person in my opinion..

Me too

You hot-tempered Turks!!! You get all riled up and then it always ends with tears.  I seem to remember you disappearing after a post was deleted too!

You never catch me doing such a thing! ....

(I believe it is all a ruse so that he can come back as TheVineyards )

Must be the power of suggestion!!
