"Average Opinion of Islamic People in America. Charles Firth Asks Average Americans Whether Muslims Should Carry ID and Whether Pork Spray Could be a Possible Deterent."

I wonder if the survey was done in Islamic countries and "average" people were surveyed, what would the "average" comments be like about Americans/Christians/Jews/insert the name of an infidel of choice here?

But then again, I would probably realize that the responses chosen for editing were probably chosen precisely to get a reaction out people like you.

A stupid clip stereotyping Americans based on responses of a few people who are stupid enough to stereotype all Muslims. And Tami, you fell for it again. How, erm, typical.

why are you getting offensive when the christian bigotry is exposed? People post surveys here showing the Turks as bigots, and nobody tells them not to post them? Why can`t you take any criticism?

but ok I`m sorry, I must admit that Americans love muslims. That video is full of lies.  Does that make you feel happy now?

As an atheist I couldn´t care less if it´s Christian or Islamic or Jewish or whoever else´s religion´s bigotry that´s exposed. To me all religions rate pretty much the same in many if not all categories.

What irks me is the Anti-American hatred campain that you´re conducting here. I have lived in this country for a long time and I can tell you that it´s not as black and white as you´d like to paint it. If you´re going to be critical, be critical, but make a good argument and be objective, insted of spreading propaganda that rivals the one that you so aim to expose.

You´re equally misinformed or unfair when you say that all Americans hate Muslims as when you say that all of them love Muslims. Neither is true and the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. You´re just too blinded by your hatered to see it.

if you are so impartial, why didn`t you attack theH like you`re doing now when he posted the survey about Turks showing them as bigots?

If you call this an anti-american hatred campaign, why don`t you call all the stuff posted here portraying Turkey in negative light, anti-Turkish hatred campaign? Look at the main page and you will see plenty of them.

I know from my own expereince that anti-muslim bigotry is well spread in America, and a great percentage of Americans hate muslims. Don`t tell me that you lived there and they don`t hate muslims. You didn`t live there as a muslim.

The average comments in Islamic countries? The average comment will be like you are seeing here from Tami..

Actually, Tami is the Turkish version of the people you see in that video..

And you do not need to do any editing of his responses..lol lol

Which survey was it?

Were the findings of that survey upset you?

Do you want to go through the items of the survey if they are the right or correct findings  or not?

Can you? lol

Generically speaking the surveys I would normally post here, can be seen from  quite reliable sources..Its is not from a talk show or whatever..

And some of them are exposing OUR own bigotery.

And why is there bigotery in my country on some subjects?

Because we have many  people like you in Turkey!!

Full of hatred of western values, coupled  up with personal inferior complex!!!

Once you have THAT inferior complex, of course you think that anything critical of Turkey is part of evil western plan and part of anti-Turkish campain..

There is not anti Turkish campain here!! Why should it be?

Can you prove that there is?

Bigotary in Turkey upsets me..

Look at it..You are a great example of people who hates anything western which itself against anything Ataturk wanted to establish..

You are embarressing my country here as some might think every Turk is as  bigot as you are..

From your own experience? Really? Do you personally know "a great percentage of Americans"? Or maybe you´re getting your info from the Christian media that you seem to despise so much. You´re driving a point about how biased they are (which I happen to agree) so how come you don´t take that into consideration when making your own judgments?

Or have you ever thought that it´s not Muslims that the Americans you meet hate, but maybe it´s you? With attitudes like you have it´d be hard to feel warm towards you. Maybe the Americans you meet make their impression of Muslims based on their interaction with you, have you thought of that?

And to answer your question, you´re assuming that I read every thread, which I don´t. Nor do I feel inclined to post on topics I know little about. I don´t know whether Turks are bigots or not, I don´t know "a great percentage of them". My opinion of Turks is based on the few I´ve met and what I see on this site, which, if I were to take your posts into consideration, I´d have to admit that the survey wasn´t too far off.

Based on the comments by western members of this site I would say that survey is pretty accurate.  TheH is being defensive by trying to equate this with Turkish nationalism, but does this mean he denies the racism and anti-islamic propaganda that exists in the west?

Perhaps you now understand how Turks feel by the anti-Turkish hatred campaign on this site, which far more posts are dedicated to, and is mainly organised by an ex-pat Turk! lol
