Ewww.....from the article...not exactly the most credible or best source........one must admit the economy is not that good.....
"Longer term, Panarin predicts that the breakaway states will eventually be taken over by the European Union, Canada, China, Mexico, Japan and Russia and America will cease to exist altogether, as depicted in the illustration above.
Panarin blames the collapse on a “political elite that implements an absurd and aggressive policy that aims to create conflicts around the planet” and warns that increasing firearms sales in the U.S. are a sign that people are preparing for “chaos” in the aftermath of a total financial meltdown.
“In my opinion, the probability of the US ceasing to exist by June, 2010 exceeds 50%. At this point, the mission of all major international powers is to prevent chaos in the US,” Panarin concluded."
.................and it looks like I´ll be in the China part. I sure hope he is wrong!

The story as written here seems absurd and very far fetched.
It may however, become a very serious threat to US and world in general, if oil producing countries do decide to and can manage to charge their own currencies or any currency other than US dollars for the oil they produce..
USA will then have to sell dollars in the open market to obtain whatever currency is necessary to buy her oil needs. We shall than see how much a dollar is really worth.
Such a situation will lead to either total collapse of US economy or preempt an all out world war.

Considering our government just gave billions of dollars to Brazil to aide them in their own off shore drilling...but for some reason we are so against us drilling in our own backyards, we wouldn´t have to be at the mercy of these countries.

Not to be at the mercy of those countries means that we have to develop alternative energy sources (which we could have done already if we spent the money on that instead of on murdering people around the world!). Do you think that we have any substiantial sources of our own to be independent of other countries and still use oil? Not that I know of.

I´m not seeing the relevance between "murdering" as you call it..and finding a solution for alternative energy.. Bye the way I believe most soldiers sign up to protect us...not to be classified as "murderers". Anyhow of course we have substaintial sources...how about Alaska for one. Why not utilize our resources first. But let me guess until humans are considered more important than the polar bears we will continue to still aid other countries to do this for us. So tell me what is the difference then if were giving aid to other countries to drill or save the american people money by doing this at home?

well.. besides the "murdereing" issue.. (which is what it is... but anyway..) I doubt that the US has lots of its own natural resources, nothing to sustain the demand for more then a few years! the benefit of subsidizing other countries is that you can then claim their resources for cheap prices..

Have you ever actually been anyplace where they drill? Maybe you have, but I remember the putrid smell and body surfing in the Pacific and getting horrid tar sticky stuff on my body....ugh...any idea of the type of damage it does?
Read a little...like here.
It would only be a drop in the bucket anyway, while the species extinction, and environmental damage goes on forever.
We HAVE to change our lifestyles to not be so wasteful, and develop alternatives. No matter how much drilling we do, it is a finite resource....you know..........it is going to run out....

We must first get rid of Chavez of Venezuella. He has this nasty idea that he should charge Euros for Venezuellan oil.
Dont you think Venezuella deserves some democracy?
