The messages I post do not appear under  "New in Forums" column. Is any of the moderators stopping them?

I think I´m right in saying that new messages posted in the ´other´ forum in the ´general/off topic section do not appear in the ´New in Forums´ column on the left. All others should.

That is correct. Off-topic posts are not displayed in the "New in Forums" section on the right side of all pages.

And when I said ´on the left´ of course I meant my left as opposed to everyone else´s which would be ´on the right´.  (it drives my husband crazy-especially when I´m giving him directions!!)

That is an unfortunate error which needs immediate correction.

My extremely wise posts usually fit iti that category; thoug some afficinados still manage to find them, they mostly go unnoticed.

 ****HINT****

If you hold up your index finger and thumb on your left hand....it makes an "L"

I catch my son holding his hands up all the time to tell his right from left!  You are definately not alone!!{#emotions_dlg.lol_fast}

That´s great -thanks for the handy hint. I´m okay if I´ve got time to think about it but when hubby asks ´left or right?´ it has to be a quick decision-that´s when I get it wrong.
