Here is my story......
I met a nice Turkish gentleman while on a cruise vacation. He was my waiter. I only saw him once each day in the dining room when he served dinner to my family and myself. We never connected any other time or in any other way. When I returned home, we connected online as friends. After a few months, he invited me to visit Turkey to share his culture, his history, his country, his faith, his family....just to share with me. What to do? I had never travelled so far alone, I had never been to a place where I knew nothing of the language, to a country that is almost entirely Muslim (a religion that I am not), to a world so vastly different from my own. I would be relying heavily on the character and sincerity of this man. (keep in mind, we had spent months connecting online getting to know one another) After much thought and prayer, I decided to go to Turkey.

This was the best decision of my life! I met amazing people, saw every day Turkish life, enjoyed lots of Turkish food (and I mean LOTS!), I learned Turkish history and culture and faith. I was fortunate and blessed to meet the right type of person and enjoy a life changing experience.

Meet someone Turkish. Not for "fun" on vacation, not for what they look like, not for what you think their motivation is in being nice to you. Just try talking to someone Turkish. I would be very surprised if you cannot find something to love about the Turks! They are kind, warm, welcoming, respectful and open......not generalizing, just speaking from my experience alone. I am blessed to have a young Turkish woman who I can call both teacher and friend as well. It took me months of searching online to find someone to give me lessons. When I finally got a return email from my searching, I had no idea if this person was young, old, male, female....I knew nothing. Again I thought and prayed and took a chance. Both this Turkish gentleman and this young Turkish woman are wonderful people, and they are both beautiful to me. They have enriched my life beyond anything I could have imagined! Through both of them, I have met many other Turkish people to include in my life and even if I never saw either of them again (İnşallah, I do) I know I will always be blessed to call them friends and I know they feel the same about me. Turkish people are a very warm and charming culture of people. (yes, there are good and bad in any culture, any faith, any ethnic background) But I think just be sensible and have a good judge of character for any people, and you will find the right ones to connect with.

I think maybe if you are looking at someone from the right angle, you can find beauty in almost anyone in the world. It just might not be in their looks where you will find this beauty. Sometimes the best beauty is found in the hearts of people.

For the record........
Respectively, my charming Turkish gentleman friend and my patient young Turkish teacher and friend, are very handsome and very beautiful. I love them both for what they bring to my life. I find the 2 of them beautiful.......both inside and out.

haha this is ridiculous.  Maybe they won´t give you a second chance that´s why youre so rude.

Sex tourism is thriving not just in Turkey but also places like Bali and Argentina. It is gross but most decent men and women wouidnt get involved.

What a load of c**p!!!  I think you don´t know English and have mixed up the words ´ugly´ and ´beautiful´!  Some of the best looking women I´ve ever seen are Turkish.

I don´t like getting involved in topics like this but I´d like to share my thoughts on this, In these last couple of months I´ve met some amazingly beautiful (physically and mentally) turkish people. I was pretty ignorant about them and only judged them by the experiences I had (online). however since I started getting to know turkish people in person, I´ve found them quite charming.  I´ve seen turks from blue and blond hair to dark eyes and black hair, they vary a lot, you can´t just generalize all of them by calling them ugly. I feel like you´re just insecure about yourself and just want to degrade them to make you feel better.
