Bu yaz İngiltere´ye gideceğim.

* You know you do not need ´Ben´ because of ´gideceğim´.

* The time reference ´bu yaz´ normally precedes the sentence ´object´ (England)

* Normally for "proper names" (Countries, cities, people´s names) Turks use an apostrophe before any suffix is added. İngiltere´ye

* gitmek = to go, gideceğim = I will go

A good site to check your verb conjugation is www.verbix.com/

Otobüs ile gidiyorum OR

Otobüsle gidiyorum

* your verb was perfect, but you misspelt your noun (otobüs)

* as you know, ´ben´ is optional, but I am told it is not normally used in spoken Turkish, unless you want to emphasise the ´I´ for some reason.

You are walking and only ´I´ am going by bus.

My attempt, but wait for a Turk to correct or confirm

Neyle oraya gidebilirim?

(If you are asking about which transport you need to catch, by bus/taxi/boat/walking)

How (with what / by what means/transport) can I get to there?

Ne (what) + ile (with) = neyle (with what/ how)

O (that) + ra (place) + y (buffer) + a (to) = oraya (to that place/ to there)

git (go) + ebil (ability to/can) + ir (simple tense) + im (I/first person) = gidebilirim

Geçen yıl Fransa´daydım

Fransa (France) + da (in/on/at) + idi (past tense for noun sentences) + m (I / first person suffix)

= Fransa´daydım = I was in France

Nifritity , I like your determination and willingness on learning Turkish. Aferin Sana, Carry on like this

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven´t been there before.

 önce ben orayada yoktım.

Daha önce orada bulunmadım.

Daha önce = before

Orada = there

bulunmak = in this case ,to be in somewhere especially for people .

note : dont mix this with "bulunmak = passive form of to be found"

                                   bul + un [passive] + mak = to be found

bulun + ma [negative] + dı [past] + m [person]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ankara´da hiç bulundun mu ? ---> Have you ever been to Ankara ?

in some cases "bulunmak" is used as "to live" ;

Mısır´da beş ay bulundum ---> I lived in Egypt for 5 months. [ I have been to Egypt for 5 months.]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

bulunmak is also used as to own, to have ;

[shopkeeper says to the customer]

Bizde zeytin bulunmaz --> We dont have olives.

Sizde ekmek bulunur mu  ? ---> Do you have bread ? [Do you sell bread ? ]

Sizde tost bulunur mu ? ---> Do you make toast ?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is the beach near my holiday resort?

plaja benim tatilyeri yakında mı?

--------------------------------------

You done good ! but little bit correction needed.

Plaj benim tatil yerime yakın mı ?    OR ;

Plaj benim tatil yerimin yakınında mı ?

--------------------------------------------------------------

tatil yeri --> two seperate words --> holiday place

[benim] tatil yerim --> my holiday place

tatil yerim + e [dative case] ---> to my holiday place

yakın mı ? ---> is [it] near ?
