There are nice things to see in most cities, but I have mostly been disappointed by most big cities. This includes Paris, Istanbul, New York. I've been very disappointed by their dirtiness and chaos and by the things that are admired by other people. While the architecture of Istanbul is great to see for Europeans, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. The same happened when I went to Paris, not to even mention New York which was such a disappointment to me. I don't like old, crowded cities.

The ones I liked most were Krakow, DC, and some German cities. Krakow is beautiful and has so much history, coziness and German cities are clean and cute. DC was the most cultured city I've ever seen. It's very classy there.

DC?!?!?!?!?!

Depends which bit of London you are talking about I don't like the rudeness, you are a faceless object in London, taking your life in your hands on the underground at rush hour

Oh and I forgot. Brugge is also a very cute city. You have to see there.

Brugge (Bruges) is a very cute city indeed, but I wouldn't like to live in a city that's being described as "cute". It's a beautiful place with a lot of history, but to me it feels more like an open air museum. I don't feel the "soul" there.

My choice (and maybe it's because I'm still on a huge fresh high): Istanbul!

That is not exactly what I meant!

Of course we know that she was talking about Washington DC, but what interested me was that she was intrigue with DC and I wanted to know more of her views of this city through her eyes!

Istanbul is the only "big" city that I like. But I have only really seen Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Francisco, besides Instanbul.
