"Onlarda taklit edilemiyen şey giydikleri değildi, giyniş idi."

"The inimitible thing regarding them was not what they wore, it was the style in which their dresses were worn."

giyniş > in this sentence would mean the manner of dressing

According to my Bible, on it´s own it means dressed:

Giyinmiş değilsin.

You´re not dressed.

And, you can use it as a manner of being dressed as well:

Kim çok çekici giyinmiş.

Kim is dressed very attractively.
