this is the weirdest video I've ever seen. a guy cheating on his wife on one hand, and giving up his eye for the woman he had an affair with... very weird, almost spooky.

Let me guess! I bet it the film about he very beautiful couple he falls in love with her and like wise. He is a photographer an she spills some fluid into her eyes and is blinded. He then donates his eyes to her. She thinks he has left her but then sees him on a park bench but he is now blind and she walks away. YUK!! To me this looks like traditional Hong Kong rubbish.

Now I am going to look at the film to see if I have guessed right.

I don't like this video because it has a skewed perception of both love and sacrifice. First of all, the kind of relationship shown in it, is mainly based on sexual attraction, it has nothing to do with real, mature love, based on knowing the other person from years of experience and effort. Second of all, the guy walked away from the woman he supposedly loved...??? He didn't want her to know that he donated his eyes to her??? How selfish and narcissistic is that. He just wanted to feel good about himself, to feel like he's a noble person, maybe to erase his other sins (possibly for cheating? heh). I hate this kind of propaganda and media manipulation into making us believe that this is what love ought to be all about.

My reasons for not liking the film are far more simplistic than those of catwoman - it is a load of old rubbish and completely unbelievable. I dont even know why I watched first time round.

My question is not about if man or woman would donate their eyes to their lovers,but,how far do you think one can do to his or her love?
And would woman sacrifice more than man,or the other way arround,
Or it's a matter of individuals differences which we cann't generalize ?!

I've seen this before too.
OK it's a sad story...but I have to admit the ending just ruined the whole moral of the damn story!
He loved her so much he gave up his dreams...what he lived for...his passion, which in conclusion sets the moral that you would do anything for the one you loved....but then at the end she hands him the photo and walks off without seeing him again (though upset)!!!
So basically it contradicts the moral because she walks off with his eyes and doesn't bother to love him!
I mean what the heck? if it was me I would have stayed with him...not because I felt sorry for him but because I loved him from the start and because look what he gave up for her!

Canli...the answer to your question: I would die saving the person I love

Oh and by the way to set some people straight, the person that you thougt was his wife is actually his close work partner (like brothers)and he is a man the reason he looked hurt etc was because his best friend was giving up his dreams for a girl he loved and he didn't agree.

when I was at school I used to do weight lifting as a hobby and one time I was adding some weights to bench press and my PE teacher said I doubt very much you will be able to lift that...anyway he stood behind me as a safety precaution and I benched pressed it 20 times!
Some people in my class were like OMG! where as others were like well if she can do it I can but when they tried it the truth was no other girl could do it and some boys couldn't either! so you could imagine my face -
The teachers just said "very impressive" and gave a stunned look

I now have a damage to my wrist so I am unable to keep up with my training in martial arts for a while ....and now that I am not doing it I am bored out of my skull!! and I miss it alot but I will be back kicking ass soon

I've seen this music video a couple of years back and it sure is nice to watch it again after all these years. It's still very touching...
