Quoting Trudy:

I just booked online an autumn holiday trip, but because the date - which is only 2 weeks from now - they cannot confirm yet that my booking will be accepted. I probably have to wait a couple of days.... and I'm such a patient person....

Hope you decided against Burma

I just heard my job may be at stake.... 40 out of 100 employees probably will lose their jobs because of malmanagement and wrong political decisions. Because they will go for the LIFO-system, I'm one of the first on the list (working 5 years for this company). I don't like that at all!!

So sorry to hear that Trudy . I hope there are some good sides of it that you can think of as well... Maybe you can find another job that pays more? In any case, that sucks .

That's really bad news for you Trudy. I hope it works out to be an opportunity to find a job where they are worthy of your obvious talents.

Oh Trudy that's awful! I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about it too much until you have more definitive information.
Thinking good thoughts for you!

You know Trudy, your real calling in life should be as a travel guide or writer of travel books! You know the saying?......'When one door closes, another one opens'.

Thanks ladies for your compliments. But no, that won't be a good idea. For guiding I don't have the right education (and they are strict in Holland) and writing..... well, my essay of my latest Turkey tour is still not finished. Writers block. You'll have to be patient a lot more.
