Freshman, it is not just about money when you don't go and visit your own countries interesting places. i have lived in London all my life and there are lots of places I have never been to that tourists go to. Buckingham Palace, Madam Tussauds/ Sometimes even when things are right on your doorstep you don't have time to go when you are living your normal everyday life. I can't even list the places in England that i've never been to there are so many. I bet there are people on this site who have visited England who have seen more of the interesting sites than i have

Anyway, as far as Istanbul is concerned, I have seen that place of great historical interest and natural beauty - the outside of the International departures lounge at the airport!! lol I can't wait for the day when i can visit Istanbul properly and see all the wonderful things there. Including maybe you, duskhavesi and Attila heheh Actually i think i might be going to Ankra for a few days in October which will be a great adventure for me because I will travel alone there. Insallah!

Lyndie is right, most of us didn't see places around our doorstep. I visited last month, for the first time in my life, "holly mountain" with alot of monasteries and beutiful places, which is situated only 30 kilometers from place where I live. It was amazing! I could post some pictures in my private.

By the way, freshman, what's "wage parameter"?
