Description: Istanbul has been standing for ages. It was the home of the Byzantine Empire, it was once called Constantinople.

Back then the city needed thick stone walls for defense. These walls were so massive that they still stand today around the old neighborhoods of Istanbul on the European side of the Bosphorous.
