Necessity with -meli, -malı

Ben okula gitmeliyim. 

I have to go to school. 

 

gitmeliyim:

git: verb stem

meli: necessitive marker

y: buffer letter

-im : personal suffix for 1st person singular

 

The personal suffixes that are used with the necessitive marker are the same as in Present Continuous and Future Tenses:

Singular

1. : -ım, -im, -um, -üm

2. : -sın, -sin, -sun, -sün

3. : --

Plural

1. : -ız, -iz, -uz, -üz

2. : -sınız, -siniz, -sunuz, -sünüz

3. : -lar, -ler

 

Build sentences with necessitive market -meli using the given words.

Example:

These are the given words: ben / okula / gitmek

This is the sentence you build: Ben okula gitmeliyim.
