Everybody must say his/her ideas about this subject because we will understand that who is/was best actor/actress at same time with it..Tom Hanks and Anthony Hopkins are leaders in last results...

I liked the film "The Deerhunter" with Robert de Niro and Christopher Walken, seen it a few times over the years.
The Russian Roulette was quite
frightening and also when they were held captives in a cage in water looking for escape.

I also liked "One flew Over the Cuckoos Nest" with Jack Nicholson, working and admitted in a mental hospital.
Quite a
gripping actor in his roles.

"As good as it gets" with Jack Nicholson was another film of his where he was intolerant of his gay neighbour's friends and dog. Then he became very attached to the dog at the finish.

I liked most of the films that everyone mentioned, but my absolute all time favourite EVER - was the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I had read the book many times over the years and it was my favourite book. I was prepared to be disappointed by the films. But NO! they were wonderful for me, exactly how my imagination had 'seen' everything when I read the book.

BTW - I have met Anthony Hopkins, in fact he kissed me on the cheek and gave me his autograph. He is very tall, very handsome and very charismatic!

Attila,

I think you mean: "Keep your FORKED tongue behind your teeth".

Forked tongue refers to a lying person. Just like the Serpent that lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden That's where the expression originated from.

My favourite movie keeps changing with the times...but the movie that I've watched countless times would be Bridget Jones's Diary.

Not the second film but the first one starring Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant. It's one funny movie!

I can send you, Seticio. It is good.I have two american versions.I don't say they are bad.But every character has to be played by native actors and actresses,I think.
Especially Pyer Bezukhov in russian version is exellent.Very deep.I like Tatyana Samoylova's Natasha more.

Midnight Cowboy is mine all time favourite with Rain Man a close second. I am a Dustin Hoffman fan. Others are Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and more recently, Minority Report and the one with Harrison Ford in he plays a Doctor who gets blamed for something he didn't do. Also the new Alfie - sexy Jude Law sways that one!!

On the whole I find many new films a complete load of ol' horse***t
