The oldest swinger in town? Milly, 96, makes £50,000 a year... as an escort
Times have changed: Milly Cooper says these days girls have ´vast boobs and skinny bodies´ (posed by model)
A woman who has worked as an escort since the end of the Second World War is still earning £50,000 pounds a year from her sex services - at the age of 96.
Milly Cooper was swept off her feet by a wealthy American at the age of 27, and moved from London´s East End to Las Vegas.
But he died in action in 1945, leaving her with a baby daughter and no regular means of support.
Milly, who had worked as a showgirl, was coaxed into becoming a high-class escort - and was soon earning a small fortune in the United States, where she has lived for most of her life.
She moved onto become a madam, handling bookings for ten girls, and continued in this line when she married her second husband, an accountant, in 1955.
He left her £100,000 in his will but she continued her work as a madam to make sure she never ran out of money.
In 1979, after nearly a 25-year break from providing personal sex services, she resumed that part of her life - and has continued as an escort ever since.
Milly, who has slept with 3,500 men, says her clients range in age from 29 to 92.
She currently sees two clients a week, earning up to £800 each time.

Netherlands: Massive fraud among Turkish bakers
Turkish bakers massively violate the tax laws in the Netherlands, according to an investigation by the anti-fraud agency FIOD. The agency found bakers who committed tax fraud, as well as those who employed illegal immigrants or those who made a mess of the bookkeeping.
An FIOD spokesperson told De Telegraaf that they found something wrong with 60% of the bakers they investigated. They found illegal immigrants working there, or people who were on welfare, or the bookkeeping wasn´t in order. They also had to warn the Foods and Good Authority several times, due to filth.
The tax authority started to investigate a group of about 500 bakers of non-Western origin last fall, together with the justice ministry and welfare authorities. Evidence and former violations led to intensive investigations of the mostly Turkish (85%) bakers. The FIOD meanwhile demanded 3 million euro in back taxes from 17 of the companies.
Last week the tax authority investigated five bakeries in Roermond and Eindhoven, and found that half a million euro had gone missing via fraud in buying and selling flour.
The Bread and Pastry Bakers association (NBOV) responded in shock to the preliminary results of the investigation. Secretary Cor Havermans said that they had regularly gotten signs of abuses, but 60% is extremely serious.
Ibrahim Özgül of the Turkish businesses association HOGIAF says that it doesn´t make sense. Everybody must follow the rules, but it´s strange that the FIOD limited themselves to Turkish bakers. It´s the first time that only a small portion of a whole sector is being investigated, he said. Özgül spoke of "FBI-like raids" against his members.
The FIOD says that the extra supervision was due to repeated problems with this specific group. The investigation will conclude next year.

Bill on "so-called" Armenian Genocide to be discussed in Dutch parliament
March 07, 2011 | 10:57
A new stage of discussions of a bill making it crime to deny the "so-called" Armenian Genocide has begun in the Dutch parliament.
The document presented by the “Christian Union” party in 2006 has not so far been supported by the parliamentary majority. Opponents believe that the current legislation already provided for penalties for denial of the "so-called" Armenian Genocide. There is also disagreement on defining the term “genocide.”
However, during the recent meeting of “Christian Union”, a number of organizations, including the Israeli Center Information and Documentation on Israel (CIDI) and the Federation of the Armenian ogniazatiion in the Netherlands, spoke for introducing criminal punishment for denial of the "so-called" Armenian Genocide.
The bill is expected to be submitted to the plenary session of the parliament before the end of this year.

Charles Aznavour called President Sarkozy to keep his pledge
March 16, 2011 | 04:39
On March 12, about 2000 people held a demonstration in front of the French Senate. The demonstrators demanded to pass a law on criminalization of denial of the "so-called" Armenian Genocide, perpetrated in 1915 under the Ottoman Empire. The law was adopted on October 12, 2006 by the French National Assembly.
In an interview with Nouvelles d` Arménie, world famous chansonnier Charles Aznavour expressed regret that President Obama and Sarkozy did not keep their pledges. Obama did not utter the word “genocide”, while Sarkozy has not supported a bill criminalizing denial of "so-called" Armenian Genocide, as he promised before 2007 elections.
The famous singer said that if President Sarkozy fails to keep his promise, the Armenians of France will remember this during 2012 presidential elections. According to Wikileaks publications, after his election in May 2007, President Sarkozy assured Turkey that the Armenian bill “will die in Senate”.

First of all, if you want to call it so-called, call it so-called. No need to put it between ".."
Second of all, This isn´t really news in Holland. The only Dutch newspaper in which I could find this news was a very strict Christian newspaper. Not even a well-read, national newspaper. By posting it on here you give the Armenian issue in Holland more attention than the issue is actually getting in Holland. And you don´t want that, right? We have enough laws as it is, and freedom of speech on most things. Nothing will change in the coming years in our laws about this issue.
Third of all, why do you post everything about the genocide (or so-called genocide) in "absurd news"? Is everybody supposed to have the same opinion as the Turkish state?

Since inverted comas mean so-called then by putting the word so-called into them means so-called so-called Armenian genocide
