A little food for though si++.

Everytime you post anything on the Armenian Genocide or as you put it the "so-called" genocide you help their cause.  You give them the exposure and the publicity they want.  What they want is to have the most exposure and publicity that they can get.  So you are doing them a favore by posting about the subject, they are getting alot of free press because of you.

Now, you have a good day also!

If I should mind my own buisness you should also mind your own buisness and pay attention to the things you post.  You post things you consider as absurd news and expect no one to comment on it!?!  You are not alone on this site and if someone has the audacety to comment on your post you react that way you do and you expect the other not to react or reply to your post.

Instead of having the others censure their replies or not reply at all, why not just avoid posting absurd news?

 So just because si++ doesn´t post something you agree with, then it shouldn´t be posted?  Strange but that sounds exactly against your own point.  Censorship is censorship.  si++ has a right to think something is absurd, you have a right to disagree...lets just agree to disagree.  {#emotions_dlg.yes}

I was replying to what si++ said, he said "You should mind your own business instead of commenting on others´ obsessions or what they do/don´t have to post or something. Just "suggesting".

Why should I do as he says? When it seems he can do and say what he wants.  There is an expression that says what is good for the goose is good for the gander.  If we are to "mind our own business" and refrain form posting comments on his posts then he should have the common descency not to post them if he doesn´t want people to comment about it.  I am not going against my own point, I am reflecting his point of view back to him and their is a diffrence between censorship and common sense.  Funny that when si++ said I should mind my own buisness and not post you didn´t accuse him of censorship.

As soon as someone mentions or suggests that someone not post or think before posting, they are accused of wanting to censor discutions.  If I am not permitted by si++ to comment on his posts then maybe he should not be permitted to post certain news.  It is a 2 way street we walk on and basicly if he cries for respect then he should have the common descency to respect the others.

That horse of a subject has been beaten to death more then once on this site and maybe should be left to rest for a little.

 si++ is not the only one beating this horse.  However, it just seems that when someone posts something contrary to what is politically correct, they are told they are distasteful.  As long as si++ is not violating forum rules...POST AWAY!!

Then the others should be able to comment on his posts if I am to interpret what you say!

 Absolutely.  Posters and responders really need to understand that not everyone will agree with them and sometimes its best to agree to disagree.  I am just not sure why si++ use of punctuation or subjective choice of what is absurd needs to be debated.  It just seems a bit well, "absurd."  Sorry if pointing that out upsets you but it is just my observation.

I am not upset but maybe just start a new thread that is called the Armenian issue and those who do not want to read it won´t have to and it won´t get tangled in with other absurd news that they want to read.

Just a idea.

Si+  I would like to say I enjoy your posts. They are informative and interesting. I am acute(ly) aware that these posts are not necessarily your own personal opinions. You are posting information and articles written in public media about subjects that have been developed from the mindset of Turks. I would like to say thank you for all your posts you have been a good contributor to this forum.

Si+  I would like to say I enjoy your posts. They are informative and interesting. I am acute(ly) aware that these posts are not necessarily your own personal opinions. You are posting information and articles written in public media about subjects that have been developed from the mindset of Turks. Not always! See below. I would like to say thank you for all your posts you have been a good contributor to this forum.

I have provided the source for the post which started "so-called" debate and now appears to be deleted by some admin??

The source for that post was an Armenian site actually and it was given in that post. And I added "so called" stuff because I don´t see it as Armenians and pro-Armenians here.

I wonder why it was deleted (which rule did it violate?).
