well some people don´t know the difference between a Turk, Arab, Afghan, Iranian........and they don´t care....or think it´ important.

 I think most people just tend to lump people together in groups...Middle Eastern, European, Asian, African and don´t use or know correct terminology.  I am not sure that it is done purposefully but I am certainly guilty of it at times.  Many people call my husband an Arab, sometimes a Mexican because of his dark complexion.  He has even been asked if he is Italian...lol

Ah well, people also say "Europeans" like it´s one thing... there are only two countries in the world... "my country" and "everything outside of the borders"
