If religious education is given, it should be about the most important religions in the world, not only about one specific. Strict control on teachers is necessary and they should be objective about the teachings they preach.

Religious education should be given from a broad perspective, showing how religions emerged, expanded, what their idealistics are and how we can see the religions in our daily life.

As FF says, practice usually shows differnt. Only one religion is the focus, and other religions even get 'biased' in these 'sessions'.

Religious education is a sensitive subjet, but these days it seems an important one..

i dont think erlik is doing any harm to the site, hes expressing himself. the site cant split turkey into parts, can it? turkey will still exist no matter if theres TC or not.
all you can do is agree/disagree or stay out.
i dont like decisons like: hey, come on, lets linch him (by deleting).

lets rather look at his ways of thinking. what makes him think that way? who raised him? what people have influence on him? how many of them are there?

You are right FF

But sometimes it seems to me as we just cant understand his way of thinking. And racism should just not be tolerated. But on the other hand, all the times I have thought to leave the site because of matters of such a topic, I always thought that by leaving, you give them what you want. Instead, we'd rather stay the opponent.

So I'll apply to be the right hand of the first lady If Sui agrees ofcourse

I hope none of the people here take the accusations against me (being a separist and a PKK supporter) serious. Im truely shocked.

I request for Erlik Han to be deleted from this website, because the true separist is him. And we are all here to enjoy Turkey, not to split it up and see it fall into racist civil 'wars'.

Sitting on my ass.

The translation of my post is:

I am disgusted from this discussion. Who you think you are, to talk about people like this! Really, if being Tukish means this, to always love Atatürk, to be an extreme nationalist, if its racism, in that case, how unhappy for the one who says I am Turkish!

I was just being a little provocative and angry about how people just talk about other nations as if they are less. The whole discussion is filled with underlying nasty feelings and Im tired of it. For as far as the replies I got, they were all about that not everybody has to behave like this. Ofcourse, thats true, and most Turkish people I met thought like I do, I was just referring to the hatred some people spread in this thread, not to Turkish people in general

For as far as Erik (sorry I forgot ):

Türk değilim. Ama şunu söyleyebilirim: Ne mutlu Türkiyelim diyene

The girls who (will) put their lovers names here.. isnt enough for you that you dont trust your boyfriend and have to put it up here to make 'sure' he is not a double-lover?
Either you are not trusting him (there goes the basis of your relationship!) or you are accusing him of cheating on you!

Its good for the people who already have been used, but I find it rather funny if people put the names of their current relationship online. If you dont trust it, then dont go with it.

scientific or science fiction?
well, as for kadisha being a widow, you are right, what happent to male inheritants of hers? she sure had male relatives to have given her wealth, if women were nothing at those times. so why as a woman was she left such wealth?
do you see what im saying? why was she allowed to become a rich woman? this doesnt fit me the whole picture.

many many? im impressed. oh, tell me about aisha, im interested. i possibly missed out some successful parts of her life?

I never said many I dont know all the details either, just writing what I learnt by now.

And she inherited much as it wasnt under İslamic rule yet that the man had to take care of her and thus deserved more money

Anyway, it was Khadija who supported Muhammad after he received the first revelation and thought a bad spirit had possessed him. It was her who thought he was sent a special message by the One and Only Omni-potent being of Allah

So actually it was this woman that you seem to like so much, who supported the Prophet to spread his message ı think she must be tired offering to all those different gods
