Quoting AEnigma III:

Why do non-muslims on this site constantly refer to "Allah" instead of "God" ?

I didnt see it happening, but when I would be talking about İslam, I would use Allah, when I would be talking abotu Christianity, İ would say God. For me they are the same, and according to Koran christian God is actually also Allah (allah is just a name of god/tanrı.

They may be the same in meaning, but the word Christian isnt interchangeable for Muslim either.

Maybe thats why?

I read it, but I am not so enthusiastic about it as all the reviews I have read.

It reads quickly, just like a soap, but the problem that it tries to cover (Armenian problem, inter-cultural relations, origins), stays pretty superficial. Any of us who has the talent of writing, could write this too after making just a little research into the problematics. I dont think it adds anything to the genre.

Its really nice to read, it reads quickly and the story is fun, but it does not have the deepness I expected it to have after reading the reviews.

I truely believe those children just picked the name because they liked it or are very familiar with it, but even if they had chosen it on religious ground, people should feel happiness that children give the name of the Prophet to a teddy-bear, as it is something a child confides in, takes with him everywhere, cries at separation and tells its secrets before sleep.

It was such a nice idea of the lady to let them write stories and compile a book of it. I hope they can save the writings and publish or use them in another way, non-related to the prophet.

Well Im sorry but I cant agree on this one. I think it is strange to put someones name on the list if you trust them. Because if you do, you dont care whether he will be listed twice or once, because you have faith in that person.

I would be furious if my lover would put my name on some check-list, even if it were to proove the others 'wrong'. Im pretty sure the other way it works the same.
