So.. do i understand it right if i say that.. a relationship with a lover is a good one if it has both ASK and SEVGI?

Is it like, if you found your lifepartner, the one you want to marry.. SEVGI is always there, as a binding thing between the two of you. A magical, not touchable string that keeps you together as one. And sometimes ASK comes up in times of tickles in your belly or feeling to make love?

I'm trying my best to understand But it is quite difficult, not being perfect at English or Turkish !

Doesnt Sevgi include sexuality then? Because sexuality stays important when u go further into a relationship. When you feel your souls are one, i cant think that you wouldnt want to make love to eachother anymore.. Or would that be make sevgi to eachother

To me sexuality is included in love in a relatiobship.
Not in other kinds of love, such as in friendhsip and family-love. But for man-woman relationship (or man-man, woman-woman), sexuality is included in love and therefore is just IN the word love.

Yes.. i like that theory of ASK and SEVGI.. but i think in this case ASK is more like.. infatuation.. and sevgi like LOVE.

It cannot be stated that English word for love is not specific enough, because this depends on how and by whome used.

But i must say, i like it when languages are specific about feeligns and words, like turkish

In Holland, it is often said that one first falls in love, then loves, and when one loves, still sometimes falls deeper in love at special moments, such as a surprise flower on an ordinary day tho ur already toegther for many many years. The excited young in love feeling disapears, this is only because our body can no longer produce those feelings (!!) because it is tiring, but they still come up every now and then on special occasions. And i think that is eternity, sevgi.

Can it be said that you should be thankful for the day your love says SEVGILIM to you instead of ASKIM? Or is ASKIM just as powerful as SEVGILIM?

Do some of you sometimes feel like leaving all behind you and go to your love in Turkey?
Do some of you feel that all the tears you cry in lonelines slowly make a sea?
And that all the breaths you take alone blow your ship to him on that sea?
Do some of you feel so deeply touched when you hear turkish music?
Do some of you feel that you want to give in into this amazing explosion of passionate feelings for this special man? (or woman)
How can love be so deep, i sometimes wonder. I'm so amazed by all i feel. I feel like i wanna kiss turkish ground, then cry and be hold tight by my sweetheart.

I can only think of the safe feeling i had when i was in his arms. How can this strong feeling be?

Are there more feeling like me? And do they also sometimes feel like stupid love fools?

Or am i a lonely love junkie?

That's definately not being unfaithful, but now ive fallen in such a deep love with Kadir, no other seems to be as beautiful as he is. I don't turn around to see the handsome guy that passes the street, because he wont ever be as beautiful as my sweetheart.

Looking at someone and realise he/she is beautiful, is not unfaithfullness, as long as you dont have the intention to do anything. It's like a painting: there's nothing wrong looking at a beautiful painting, but it ís wrong when you look at it and think to yourself "i wanna steal it".

The eye can not stop from seeing, not even love has the power to stop the eye from seeing. But love DOES have the power to stop from wanting things you can not or should not have.

No man or woman who has TRUE and pure love, would cheat. Not a turkish, not a dutch, no one. Because that is what love is, finding EVERYTHING you need in that person and yourself!

Isn't it also part of their 'need' to be the powerful one in the relationship..? (im not saying this is something bad though..)

Well to be honest i dont agree. My boyfriend gave me all of her albums when he visited me, as a present, because he knew i love her music. It is true that through the years her music became less 'traditional' but you can now also hear the life better in her voice. Gülümse and Tutsak are 2 of my favourites. but Bile Bile, (a song from Dus Bahceleri) is also very beautiful if you ask me. I think her new albums contain many 'commercial fillers', but in between 2 songs are really good.

I think it's worth to listen the new ones too. Eskidendi çok eskiden from Bahane is also nice and i read her new album, Kardelen, was made for a good purpose. I havent got that one yet, so im patiently waiting for my man to come and visit me in January

Does she still give concerts?
