I have troubles listening to the examples. I searched for a word and as soon as i clicked 'dinle', this came up:

"Please login to use extra features
If you do not have an account please join our community now"

Which is rather strange, because i have an account and i was logged in (what is past time of 'login' my native english friends?)
Or is there also some sort of 'upgraded account'?

No.. he's a bit behind expire date for this exchange programme, the lucky man has already a 75-year experience of life

I don't think Holland has any interesting persons.. Except for me ofcourse

I'm glad you think i speak English as a native
But for the record.. I live in HOLLAND

We don't have a Blair here!

Thanks for the booktips, I will write them down and search in the library over here

Next year I'll post my opinion about Pamuk's Turkish, because by that time, i hope to speak it well enough to read it

And i think mltm is quite right about lazy readers.

Yes i know I loved the cover My version is red with golden letters so thats why i picked it It looked classy haha I didnt even know who Nazim was back then!! But now he's my favourite ever, i love that book!!!

I read Pamuk's books all in dutch translation except for Kara Kitap, that one i read in French. In summer holiday i will read turkish&dutch version together (first a page dutch, then try to understand turkish and vice versa) but i dont have time for that now.

I haven't been able to find any other books of high quality in literature from turkey yet. I'm reading Humanlandscapes by Nazim Hikmet now, but its a poetry story and not literature-book.

I've been told his use of language is very difficult in Turkish, so maybe not everyone just understands it totaly.

And i get lessons in understand literature, so that's maybe why i see the deeper layer. Simply because thats what they teach me at school

I found Pamuk's books when i was searching in the library for Turkish literature. His books appealed most to me. I guess i love them lots because they are VERY different from Dutch literature.

I got what you mean Sui, but i hope your country won't change that bad, because i wanna go to turkey for my love, but also to escape the selfish, shortsighted life in Holland. I don't wanna find that in Turkey too!
