Plus i would like to add.. 20 years ago, those lesbians and gays probably did what society forced them to: marry someone of the opposite sexe and live an unhappy life.

I think it is much more human to be able to marry the one you LOVE, no matter what gender he or she is.

This sounds a bit like we are talking about some kind of animal or something!! They are just human!!

And i think 20 years ago, there were also lesbians and gays but the society wouldn't let them. Society pushes you in a way of thinking, and 20 years ago, society said NO to lesbiand-gays. Nowadays, there is more space and people have, luckily, become more open-minded. I don't think that there are more lesbians and gays now, than 20 years ago. But i think more of them have the guts to tell it.

My opinion is.. ofcourse those words aren't everything.. but.. even during fights with my lover, even if i leave very mad at him.. i NEVER leave without saying 'i love you'. Because you never know what happens.

Quoting duskahvesi:

and God created two sexes..so, why ppl still gay or lesbian..
i dont understand

Because there are only two sexes..! If you don't like the other sexe, you don't have any choice but pick your own Unless you want to stay partner-less or unhappy for the rest of your life, i don't see why people can't be lesbian or gay.

I think..(as a VERY very beginner)

Birinci sayfasi, because it is the first in 'rank' of a book or whatever. Not the first in time. When talking about Spring, the season, you would say ilkbahar because it is stated in time. And if youre talking about internet, the first page, the homepage, is Ana sayfa if im correct.

But ey, native speakers, what if you want to say first page mentioned as in, the first page made? Then it's about time..

Quoting mltm:

Now, I remember. I saw some dirty tshirts in Holland. They were in english so I could understand. One was I think something like: "If you think that I'm a bitch then you haven't met my mother" :-S

They indeed have such shirts here. Also shirts with Spanish texts that say "You're mother is a whore". I see guys at my school wearing them. I bet if their moms knew what it meant, they wouldn't be allowed to wear it!

There are also funny shirts here that say:

Je moet niet dronken dat ik denken ben
» You must not drunk that I'm think.
