We seem to have gone from relationships abroad to offering to pay whilst on a date.

Is that what you got from what we wrote? Sometimes you know, when things get tough and blue, it's not bad to lighten up the atmosphere a bit. Or at least try

Not important?! I can assure you that who pays for my glass of red wine is VERY important for me lol

I am ready and eager to pay for your glass of red wine for your lifetime. Will you marry me?

Ahhh Cyrano ! No no you would need to be a millionaire to pay for all my glasses

True! But who said I am penniless? Do you want me to show you some of my bank accounts in Switzerland? Still I would tend to change my profession and start producing for you my own wine in Bordeaux. This way would be more romantic as well as cheaper.

Kai,
I am already in love with languages that you know, and I want to fall in love with you, too. I just struggle with English and am a simple, very very simple, ordinary man with one and half languages. Will you marry me? You would teach me all these languages and I would be your slave for your lifetime.

lol you seem to be doing well in your English by yourself, but I would be glad to help you in other languages when need be. lol
Take care

Thank you, kai, you are so kind. But offering help is not enough for me... I... I... (how can it be stated?)... er... I want much more... I want to marry you. Will you marry me?

I personally support Liverpool since it is generally regarded as a team of working class. Tonight I am in the seaport and my heart is with the port workers, with the dock workers together. They will never walk alone. I wish Liverpool win the match.

Now it is time for us to sing our song.

You Will Never Walk Alone

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never, walk alone

Asla Yalnız Yürümeyeceksin

Fırtınada yürürken başını hep dik tut
Ve karanlıktan sakın korkma
Çünkü sonunda altın rengi bir gökyüzü
Ve mutluluğun gümüşten şarkısını bulacaksın
Hayallerin sarsılsa da, alt üst olsa da
Rüzgarda, yürümeye devam et
Yağmurda, yürümeye devam et
Kalbinde umutla, yürümeye devam et
Ve bil ki, hiçbir zaman yalnız yürümeyeceksin
Asla ama asla yalnız yürümeyeceksin

Doğru! I must be too tired. (it is already morning here.) Perhaps that was because I have a problem with a "heart". My fingers pressed heart instead of soul.

You are right. "de" should have been written separate as in "güllerden de".

Don't imitate roses, let them imitate you
Don't sadden your sweet heart, you are more beautiful than roses too
You are as free as love, as special as freedom
When you smile you are worth the world.

Quoting tuncay87:

Sen güllere özenme güller sana özensin.
Üzme tatli canini sen güllerdende güzelsin.
Sevgi kadar özgür Özgürlük kadar özelsin.
Bir gülsen dünyalara bedelsin.
