Quoting evabeshiri:

How would you wish someone a wonderful Ramazan month?

Is it similar to the English way of wishing someone a good holiday?

My attempt would be:

seni dilemek beni çok iyi Ramazan Bayrami

(This isn't correct, is it? lol

hayirli ramazanlar

Thank you! I was wayyy off. lol

I am curious about jobs available in Turkey, specifically Istanbul as well It seems like the only good jobs are for English teachers, and I don't have teacher qualifications either. I've heard some people say that you don't have to have a degree to be a private English teacher, and on the contrary I've heard people say a degree is a must, so I don't know. I'd really like to find out though.

I agree with everyone else pretty much..

This is a very dangerous situation, because you are so young, you don't fluently know the language, and there are a lot of evil people out there who would try to take advantage of that.
I can honestly understand your frustrations though. Good things will come to you. It may sound condescending, but I say this from experience: patience is truly a virtue. Please please take care of yourself, and I honestly wish the best for you.

I'm making this post for a friend of mine who lives in Istanbul because he doesn't understand English well enough to come on this site. He needs to learn English, and his native language is Turkish. If anyone is offering these kinds of lessons please email him at: kvenice_14@yahoo.com with your offers, and you can tell him that you were referred by Evadne.

Thank you so much,
Eva

jesus what a pervert, he wrote this when I didn't even know him that well, so its kind of old. probably because he knew I wouldn't be able to understand. I'm bringing it up now because I'm basically trying to understand exactly what kind of person he is.. I'm starting to think he's either: trying to use me, or insane. I sent you a PM ♥
