Quoting pauline:

He brought her life in danger. In very big danger.
Now she disappeared. Please help!
Thanks

thanks

my attempt is:

Onun hayat içinde tehlike o getir. Içinde çok büyük tehlike.

o şimdi gözden kaybolmak.

It would probably best to wait until someone more fluent can help, because I'm not sure if this is 100% correct

When you don't come online, and when you don't send me a text message for a few days it really makes me wonder...

I'm still going in the airforce when I get everything situated. Teaching is a wonderful career but I don't want to stay here and be a teacher, its not for me.

I was going to be a English/Turkish linguist when I go in the airforce because I love you. I'd go to school for a year in California to learn the language, then they will send me to work in Turkey. But I'm not sure. We don't talk much anymore, and I don't know how you feel about this.. and I would really like to know before I sign any contracts.

I understand you can't come online, and you are probably busy - I have been busy too. But if you get a chance, can you please write me back sometime?

Love,
(My name)

I want to atleast try.. and this is my attempt at translating. I know its probably wrong, this is so frustrating

(How do you say "I was going to be a _____?" )İngiliz / Türkçe dilbilimsel ne zaman ben gitmek içinde belgili tanımlık hava kuvvetleri çünkü seni seviyorum. Ben gitgidmek okul için a yıl içinde California öğrenmek belgili tanımlık dil, o zaman onlar göndermek beni doğru iş içinde hindi. ama I'm(How do you say "I'm" or "I am"????) değil emin. biz sakin konuşmak çok artık, ve I sakin bilmek nasıl sen duyumsamak hakkında bu. ve ben gerçekten beğenmek doğru bilmek önce ben işaret birisi sözleşme.

Ben anlamak sen can't(How do you say "can't"?) gelmek bağlantılı, ve sen ol büyük olasılıkla meşgul ben olmak be meşgul çok. ama eğer sen almak a şans, sen mutlu etmek yazmak beni sırt bir ara?

Aşk,

Quoting christine_usa:

I found this peice in which a Turkish author discusses EU membership. I am very curious about this topic and appreciate any opinions about the benefits and drawbacks of Turkey joining the EU.

Why should she join? Who would benefit? What gains would Turkey make?

Why should she NOT join? Who would lose, what would be lost?

Thank you for feedback,
Christine

The European union? I'd have to look it up to refresh my memory on exactly what it is about.. If I remember correctly, it seems like it would be a good choice. Like I said though I need to go look it up lol

(I know I probably butchered this thank you so much in advance)

You often leave me speechless, at a loss for words
sen sık sık ayrılmak beni kelimelerle ifade edilemeyen

I want to say I love you
seni seviyorum demek istemek (istiyorum?)

If you come to see me someday, I will be very happy
sen gelmek doğru misafirlik beni günün birinde beni var olmak çok mutlu

tell me about your fantasies:

I will tell you mine, but I must write in English because I still speak turkish badly
ben söylemek sen benim fantezi, ama sen yazmak içinde İngiliz çünkü Türkçem kötü daha

.. Do you understand me?
anlıyor musunuz beni?

My attempt :
I want to say I love you
