merhaba!

to express the complement of scope, we can use both

"Nuri seker almaya gitti."

and

"Nuri seker almak icin gitti."

they both mean the same- "Nuri went to take/buy suggar".
when the short infivitive (alma) is used, the case asked by the main verb (the dative case in the above mentioned example asked by the verb gitmek) must be added to the verb of the scope sentence.
when "icin" is used, it comes after the long infinitive of the verb of the scope sentence(almak).


Regarding the sentence "this happened for talking to you", I guess the meaning could be either
"this happened due to talking to you" and in this case the postposition "saye" should be used (seninle konusmamin sayemde bu oldu.)
or
"this happened because of talking to you" and in this case, as the phrase hides a nuance of reproach, the postposition "yuz" should be used (seninle konusmamin yuzumden bu oldu.)
