my name is Julia, a name of Latin origin meaning "youthful"
I like to think my parents were inspired by Julius Caesar when they chose my name

do they look like what you were holding?

Errrrmmmm...not exactly
Ok ok end of discussion! Polishing the silver was much more innocent than this!

no wonder the "innocent" verb to polish is combined with "up"! The example my Oxford Dictionary gives is: "polish up some old brass candlesticks"

the "dir/dur/ tir/tur" is optional for the third person singuar, like Dilara explained.
still I have learnt that it is used for the third person singular when you want to underline what you are saying

eg: "bos yer yoktur"= there are no empty places
"bu yol kapalidir"= this road is close
"cocuklar icin degildir"= it is not (recommended) for the kids

merhaba!
I am hereby asking for ceasing the ostilities!
Really, the initial post is refering to a completely different subject and we are not helping the girl in anyway by continuing in this manner!
On the other hand, a little bit of extra thinking would be helpful; there is no need to defend a thesis or a so called thesis with so much eagerness- after all there have been libraries of books written on these sensitive subjects and reading and finding out more would be of greater help!
...and anyway wise men usually sit at the same table talking about the things which unite not on those which separate them

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling very well, you should be at home in the warm looking after yourself.

My attempt:
Uzgunum cunku kendini kotu hissediyorsun; evinde, iliklikta olmalisin ve kendine iyi bakmalisin.
