Another day
Without your smile
Another day just passes by
But now I know
How much it means
For you to stay
Right here with me

The time we spent apart will make our love grow stronger
But it hurt so bad I can’t take it any longer

I wanna grow old with you
I wanna die lying in your arms
I wanna grow old with you
I wanna be looking in your eyes
I wanna be there for you
Sharing everything you do
I wanna grow old with you

A thousand miles between us now
It causes me to wonder how
Our love tonight remains so strong
It makes our risk right all along

The time we spent apart will make our love grow stronger
But it hurt so bad I can’t take it any longer

I wanna grow old with you
I wanna die lying in your arms
I wanna grow old with you
I wanna be looking in your eyes
I wanna be there for you
Sharing everything you do
I wanna grow old with you

Things can come and go I know but
Baby I believe
Something’s burning strong between us
Makes it clear to me

I wanna grow old with you
I wanna die lying in your arms
I wanna grow old with you
I wanna be looking in your eyes
I wanna be there for you
Sharing everything you do
I wanna grow old with you

This Racist Place

I’m so sick of this racist place,
Maybe you can tell by the look on my face,
The teachers, the students are all the same,
They’re proud of who they are, where’s the shame?
Everyday I’m living this hell,
I’m not sure if others can tell,
Because I’m different and proud to be,
I’m detested and laughed at; Oh God! Why me?
Maybe I’m just a normal person,
But I don’t deserve this pointless cursin’.

i wrote this when i was about 12 too.. that would explain why some of the language is a bit immature hehe
as can be imagined, this didnt go down too well with the folks at school hehe

Emily

Wherever shall I start?
She was my friend and she broke my heart,
I thought she was different not like the rest,
She was a good friend, one of the best,
She was funny, clever and mad,
The three best qualities she could’ve had,
We were similar; Em and me,
We were leaves from the same tree,
I didn’t care if our backgrounds were not the same,
We were friends, that was the game,
For a couple of years our friendship was strong,
But that’s when it started to all go wrong,
I told my friends I was going to see,
My “long lost” relatives who are in Turkey,
From that moment on it was never the same,
They ignored me and hated me, have they no shame?
On that day I was annoyed and sad,
Why did they hate me? It all drove me mad!

After my visit I went back to school,
As a brand new person feeling so cool,
I didn’t really care what the thought,
I had learnt and they needed to be taught,
After putting up with rumours and lies,
All my friends remembered our ties,
Except for the one who was meant to be; my bestest friend, Emily,
I tried to tell her through a mail,
But my attempts concluded to a fail,
She’s moved on and so have I,
So what’s the point to even try?

yusuf , yusuf and extra brain
if i share i always gain
what i do is not in vain
yusuf ,yusf and exta brain

yusuf yusuf and extra brain
turkeys love runs in my vein

good start
but i think that

"...and an extra brain..." would sound much better.

also, love of turkey would sound better

and i dont think vein can be used like this, i thnk it would have to be plural

sorry, im guessing that english is not ur first language hehe..
great poem though, well done..

Now then Princess. You must not bury the creative muse by correcting the English. İf Yusuf starts worrying too much about this he will not be able to compose. İmagine how hard it is writing meaningful rhyme in another language! Let's not nit pick! His poetry is all the more charming for its small faults

im sorry :'(
i meant it in the nicest way possible..

i suppose also that the "small faults" you talk of do actually add to the poems "charm" you are right.. it also emphasises the message of the poem.. maybe ironic i dont know hehehe.. sorry.. i can be harsh...
