So, you have taken just about 7-10 hours in 7 weeks and you feel like you do not learn anything. It can be discouraging in the beginning but you need many many more hours to feel that you literally start to learn that language. At least 200-300 hours. And as well you must increase the intensity of the lessons. It should be intense enough to make your brain feel under  pressure and so in need to learn the language.

I think both sides here are right in some points. Calling it kurdish terrorism does not mean that all of the kurds are terrorists. In every foreign newspaper it´s marked kurdish rebels, and it does not mean that all kurds are rebels. So, I think in theory there´s nothing wrong in calling it kurdish terrorism. The majority of these terrorists are kurds and their main aim is to establish Kurdistan.

On the other side it is a delicate subject as we all know and the Kurds that have no connection with terrorism might feel uncomfortable with it and it can create prejudices against them. Human brain works in a way that it has a tendency to associate two things when they are mentioned together many times.

Though it should be stated that they are "kurdish terrorists" not "kurdish rebels".

That´s what makes it so sad Meltem Once they are popular, they are accepted. But when they are in your family or friends, suddenly it´s not that easy to accept.

I think it´ something worldwide. Even in european countries, being homosexual is something that is not seen "normal", but it is "somehow" accepted. However, they are still made fun of and guys usually have a tendency to avoid them. I think for every family it is something hard to accept that a fmaily member is a homosexual.

In Turkey, especially in rural areas it is not easy, but at least Turkey is a country where there are accepted homosexuals, forexample in Syria (my friend said) it is impossible for an homosexual to appear on TV and to be popular.

Taksim Trio and a clip that takes you to a trip in Taksim, Ýstanbul.

Hüsnü Þenlendirici´s clarnet, Ýsmail Tunçbilek´s electro baðlama and Aytaç Doðan´s kanun. Three of them makes the music of Ýstanbul.
