Thank you Roswitha for your contributions, but don't let this be your last. Even though people tend to talk off topic, but that's their evolutionary weakness...as they claim.

Is it so difficult for computer savvy people to trace the author, if they really wanted to? Afterall, she didn't claim it was her work.

People, this is not an academic site and if you require references, just ask, but politely.

There is one thing that many of us (myself included, of course ) could learn from Roswitha, and that is to keep a dignified silence. In my short time on this site I've never seen her criticise anyone. She spends her time looking for topics that may interest other people, not just herself. This site is a better place for having Roswitha's contributions. Thanks again Roswitha .

See Ros? Everyone is begging you to stay, so you can go to bed tonight knowing how loved you are

Job done!

She does post many subjects here for us to ponder, and I appreciate her input, but many times there are no author credits or links provided. I like to research things and am annoyed when they are missing.

Considering the number of links you post it is CLEAR you have no problem doing research on your own without someone posting yet another link. Just look it up yourself rather than getting annoyed.

Dear Roswitha..I, personally like and enjoy your posts, please keep posting them..and dont let these comments get you down

Take that back this minute Roswitha! Your posts are very much appreciated by many people on this site. Keep 'em coming!

Did ANYONE say they didn't like Roswitha's posts? As far as I can see Alameda was making other comments...but only about posting links

I commented only that this Poetry and Literature forum is a mess!

mess? come on!! this happens in almost all forums every time that a good thread has been started and out of the sudden has totally gotten out of topic (even if it has been posted in the right seccion)
ohh btw, this thread it is an excellent example lol lol lol

I never complain about threads going off-topic! I don't think you get my point...
And yes...this thread is yet another perfect example of a good topic in the wrong section.

...by the way nobody ever seems to mess with the Language Forum - is it more sacred?

I get your point AEnigma, and but yet, my point was that we not always see what we expect under the different sections or forum topics ... peace
