While we are on this subject, do you have a certain amount of years you can be out or your own country you live in?
I know you can get certain amount of years in a different country but what about the one you live in already? does that have any difficulties for being away in different countries for so long? I dont think it does because it is the other contries rights to allow you to enter their country is it not? :-S

There's no problem as far as I know. You just renew your own passport at your local embassy whilst abroad, most countries allow a dual passport except Germany who don't.

Ahh teşekkürler Susie

YES!!! It's possible! You do not have to be married to a Turk to get your residency!!!!!! I know countless people who have done this! The price varies depending which country you are from it's cheaper if you are German! I know that everything costs around a thousand pounds for an English person I'm not sure if you are Dutch! Just contact the Embassy again - hopefully they will get back to you sooner this time!

I don't want to get a Turkish residency. I am happy with my Dutch one.
