Quoting catwoman: Quoting Trudy: Does it also includes saving the messages that you send? |
yes Trudy . |
GREAT!! it has been a little frustrating for me to see a "reply" to one of my messages after that a certain period of time has passed...when I have forgotten what was my last "sent" message all about ..I guess I am starting to suffer from short term memory

Yes, you're both right: first, I'm one of the eldest members of Turkish Class, second, I'm very sentimental about my messages - think twice before deleting and usually don't delete

Why doesn't Bod make a Firefox extention for Turkish Dictionary of this site? It would be really useful for us who use Firefox as browser.

Perhaps because I don't use FireFox!!!
I use IE6 - by choice......why should I write anything for a browser I think is inferior???

İt would be nice if when you start a forum topic you become the moderator of this topic.
I started a topic and some people made very good and relevant replies. But others where not relevant and, worse, not a word of turkish in them. Then some people started to use the forum topic for personal and boring chat messages.
All the time the quotes become longer and it takes forever to go through the topic and find some turkish.
I want to be able to clean it up so that it is interesting for people who study turkish.

But Atrila, in that case you open the road for ALL the forums of this website to be censured by whomever wants to delete whatever is or is not relevant for a thread.
I think its not a good idea, since there will be just as much people who would abuse this possibility.

Dear Astrila. Please accept my apologies for my dull and boring chat messages in your thread about dogs.
What a dull life it would be without the occasional joke. However, I agree that such posts, even dull and boring ones, should be kept to the Off Topic wherever possible, and I normally try to do that.
However, I am more than happy to remove my posts immediately and perhaps the other "dull and boring" posters will do the same.
Have a nice day

Isn't going off-topic an old TC tradition?
