You are totally on a wrong way, this is not a good way to make critisms, when you have something to tell, you should do that directly without using otherways.

Dear Sui, I made a polite criticism which was "direct" and your answer was "it is freedom of speech" to post the Quran.

For Peace Train (from the gospels of Matthew and Luke):

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen

Depends on your motive AEnigma. You know exactly why you chose that particular passage. Is the Psalm you chose often quoted by belivers? I am genuinely interested as I don't know. The Lord's Prayer, from the Bible is extremely well known and recited by most Christians.

The Psalm you are thinking of is Psalm 23:

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Thank you AEnigma but I already know it by heart.

Instead of focusing on my motives, why are you not focusing on Roswitha's motives for creating this thread

Anyway, its a beautiful day here too - have a great one

Thanks. I know that Psalm by heart already. I don't know, by heart, the Psalm AEnigma quoted though.

Which one? The one from the Old Testament or from the Gnostic Christians? As I presume you are neither a Jew or a Gnostic, then why should you know them by heart?
