It is also a bit of a double standard that people can only say nice things about Turkey and/or Islam and not critisize it in any way. I don't want to argue with anyone, but I think we should all feel free to express how we feel as long as it doesn't get nasty ie....name calling and cursing.

I don't understand this double standard thing at all. Because there are discussions that questions Turkey or Islam doesn't make us anti anything. You certainly don't hold back when criticizing your own country Keith. Should I assume your anti-american? As one American to another you could have fooled me. I'm not aware of anyone here saying they dislike the country Turkey, it's language or people. I would like to believe that the majority of people to contrary beliefs are here because they ARE interested in Turkey. Raising questions regarding culture, beliefs doesn't make a person anti anything. I hope you can see this.

I'll agree with both of you here. But, I make one post that correlates to current events, and I am accused of inciting anti-semitism and I was also warned/threatened by Catwoman.
Enjoy your free speech. But I am not free to enjoy mine. So our worlds problem now are also TC problems. I don't apologize...
Are you kidding???

That's what we've all been trying to say, TS. With no success, I sense.

well dear KeithL, it is very normal to see the double standarts in here. as i said before that those cartoons never suits to some people in this site.

it's very enjoyable for being a puppy of mature ladiez in this site, cuz that person has lost ID.

I am very experienced young man about women.

If a woman has no success or hasn't gained a rank in her real life, she becomes a black widow spider to use men in order to success for her life. if we look through the history windows, we can see many many women who had acted just like this. Puduhepa (Hittite), Theodora (Byzantine Queen), Kösem Sultan (mother of Sultan Murad IV), Hürrem Sultan (wife of Süleyman the Magnificent) etc...

we can increase these examples of course. Consequently, we can see a woman in this site who acts in this way and uses her admin power (cuz of relationship with the admin), if we look at this site carefully.

this site becomes the playground of that woman, and governs this site with her jesters. cuz she needs shoulders to decrease her inferiority complex. owing to the high inferiority complex and not being successful in the life, she becomes a queen of a very very simple website.

"Being Something of Nothing" is the occupation of these kinda women. It's very apparent as u see dear KeithL.

Now, the original vision for the site is being overshadowed. Most of people don't know how far they can go and write everything about slippery and sensitive topics (religion, Turkey, Atatürk, terorism etc..).

this site can't go on this way... I'm hopeful... So KeithL, keep the faith in your heart, it won't let you down..

This is the funniest thing I've ever read on this website!

Quoting adonis:

Now, this site is far from it's concept.

This site is about Turkey and thus includes slippery and sensitive topics. It is the ones who cant handle this sensitivity who think they are TOO sensitive to discuss at all. And who think that anyone who is not afraid of talking about them, is consequently against them.

I totally disagree with you here.

However if we receive multiple complaints, not just from you and KeithL (Keith, please tell me that you didnt agree with the sexist post above either?) , we will reconsider to lock all threads about politics and religion for a while till feelings have cooled down. However, I think the only way to make a sensitive topic discussable, is by discussing it.

Thank you.

Keith, you asked me what was wrong with your thread about Israel and I told you that this topic is completely out of place on this web site. One thread where you've been discussing this topic has been locked, yet you started another one. I know there were threads about Israel before, but we are going to try to limit discussions about politics, especially when they are completely unrelated to Turkey.
I accused you of inciting anti-semitism only to show the irony of your behavior. You are criticizing what you don't like, but when other people criticize what they don't like, you are accusing them of being anti-islam or anti-turkey! Only by your own logic one could say that you're being anti-semitic.
Then of course the great thing is that you resort to calling me a bully and a lier... quite a personal attack and a nasty one.
