I always arrive 30 mins earlier on the appointed time and i leave once after 30 mins. I hate waiting.

You hate waiting, but you wait 1 hour in total!
In turkey I always go to my appointment with my friend half an hour later, then noone waits because she/he comes half an hour later too.

i mean 30 mins since i arrived

So you arrive 30 minutes early for an appointment but leave after 30 minutes? Do you ever get to meet anyone?? lol lol

yes because they know me well when it comes to appointment

On the Dolmus! How complete strangers pass their money and instructions of where they want to get off and the stranger passes back the change This I found very endearing, and how the young men get up from their seats to let older or eldery passengers take their seat. It is so socialable. What´s more, how the Dolmus driver stopped and asked us if we wanted to go to Bodrum! lol

I like that fact that there seems to be a unspoken trust. I mean, I see places like small marble suppliers shops, they have great big slabs of beautiful polished, absolutely gorgeous marble surfaces for kitchens or bathrooms stacked up outside the shop. They stay outside all night unattended and they are still there in the morning !

How lovely !

Have you ever tried to lift a piece of marble? lol
This is all a bit "rose tinted spectacles" for me! I love Turkey very much, but dont try to pretend it is crime free and full of lovely people who stand up for old ladies on the bus!

It is the same for any country - the cities and resorts have many crime problems, and the smaller towns less so. I love Turkey - but my love is not blind
