 alameda, honestly, I don´t understand how somebody as intelligent as you can be so completely uninsightful.  Your posts are condesending and insulting to many members.  Perhaps many members are unsulting as well, but at least they acknowledge their shortcoming.  You are content to insult people and then act surprised when you get the reaction that you deserve.  Your posts are irritating to many of the more feminist women here.  Just because we happen to agree with eachother about your posts, doesn´t mean we always agree with eachother.  GG and I have vastly different political views, but NEVER once has she insinuated that I am stupid.  You have a habit of talking down to people and then claim how culturally sensitive you are when you can´t even be sensitive to people from your own culture!

 First of all, you do realize the US is a multicultural country, don´t you? So when you say "people from my own culture" I find it curious. Obviously I am not culturally kin to the people you discuss, and choose to align yourself with.

As for my posts being irritating, they irritate the same people over and over again. Those same people have attacked others who they don´t feel are "liberated" enough. They constantly make fun of Turkish/Islamic society. Others seem to be athiest evangelists, constantly picking arguments and undermine others beliefs.

Femminist? How about the other side?  I don´t swallow "their" idea of femminism, I prefer to be more concerned with humanity, not one gender in particular. I think some females idea of being femminist is unrealistic and also chauvenistic. If I express that, that is my right. It is not being insulting if I don´t agree.

I also don´t think I have ever called you stupid, that is your interpretation of things, not anything I have said.

Anyway, this is tedious. You girls have fun cackling over my posts. Glad to see I´ve provided some entertainment for you.

 Nice post to try and rally support....you just about appealed to everyone there ...ouh wait, you forgot disabled people and the mentally insane...I am sure we just have insulted them too eh? {#lang_emotions_you_crazy}

I wonder why you insist on lumping us together as a "gang" to gain support, when we actually have very varied views on things?

 Tell me dear sweet innocent alameda....when have you ever seen a post of mine that is insulting Turkish or Islamic society?  When have you ever seen a post of mine that is spouting my religious beliefs?

You can spout your so-called humanitarism until you are blue in the face, but until you start treating people like human beings your words are empty.  When you constantly condescened people or tell someone that you disagree with that they offer no intellectual stimulation to the discussion or any of the other multitude of things you spew,  then you are no better than someone telling you to google yourself a personality....you just do it in a different manner.  I prefer the direct route!

How many people have to tell you that you are insulting before you realize that you are not the pillar of innocence that you portray yourself as.

Yes, it is your right to disagree with people...as it is our right to disagree with you.  Your manner is different than others but that does not make the content any different.

Go back and read your posts alameda.  You are insulting!!!!

I think she was talking about me, I recall she didn´t like me criticizing the impact of religions on people´s behavior. However when DD posted a summary of what I said she applauded her post. {#lang_emotions_lol}

 No, she was talking about "us".  We are all the same in her thin little book. {#lang_emotions_satisfied_nod}

 And am I not the slightly flakey pastafarian who talks about global warming while driving a sports car?
