It´s tolerated when there are one or two off topic messages but when the messages are exchanged like in a chatting, we are far from the main topic. Then the ones that are really interested to read the opinions about the topic are lost in tens of off topic messages.

I think the topic is worth being discussed. "Eroticism on Turkish Channels", "Erotic scenes in popular turkish TV serials"...

So you believe in censorhip MrX?  Here in the US censorship is a very controversial subject.  I think people should make up their own mind what they want to watch.  As far as young people, I have certain channels blocked on my TV because I have kids in the house.  I think most adults are capable of censoring thier own lives.

Yes i do believe in censor when needed Elisabeth, and i do believe in all freedoms has the limits. And i think you belive censor with ur way to by blocking some chanelles  for keep in safe ur kids.Just one difference censor´s limits can change culture by culture or country by country but by never give a harm self of the freedoms...

It´s just my opinion, but I believe that it is more harmful to culture to censor and restrict people´s freedom.  Holding on to old ways of thinking is not holding on to culture....culture should reflect the wants, needs and lifestyles of the people of a given area.  Culture is not static or constant.  It changes with the times.  Obviously, a certain segment of the population in Turkey wants to see lots of kissing!Shy

What do you mean? Why wouldn´t I tell the truth? Confused

I do not and cannot check every thread ofcourse.

And in the translation threads, the offtopic discussions are far less disturbing as they are not meant to discuss a topic but answer a particular demand.
