I do believe that there is freedom of speech in the UK, apparently our ideas of what it means differ, Tami

yes I know, your idea of what is freedom of speech is; when you insult muslims, its freedom of speech, when you insult christians or jews, its antisemtism and terrorism.

Nope, it´s the freedom to criticise everyone and everything that you don´t like/don´t approve of. Be it the Pope, the religion, army or country. It´s the choice of how you express it that is debatable with you

...do you really think all the British soldiers are Christians and Jews? I know for a fact that this is not true. So this discussion has nothing to do with insulting a religion.

By the way... I missed you {#emotions_dlg.love}

That´s a very good question and I would love to hear an answer. After all, if they were given right to protest, they shouldn´t be punished for it.

If you´re planning a protest, you simply apply for permission to the local authorities, present the protest´s schedule and resources to be used and that´s it.

BM - don´t try to explain this thing to Tami. If you´re European or, god forbid, American, you´re a Christian. And if you´re Christian you´re nazi lol I think it goes for some of the proterters as they have British citizenship. So, they seem to be nazi Christian Muslims. Offf the world´s complicated lol

yeah they are in no way christians

A true event takes on a life of its own on the web, when the Pentagon orders the destruction of a number of Bibles that were printed in languages native to Afghanistan and sent to a soldier by his church. The destruction order came just days after a damaging video was released by Al Jazeera showing a Chaplain urging soldiers to ‘hunt people for Jesus’ (a metaphor of course for souls). Some groups took the opportunity to lay the blame on President Obama and ‘Anti-Christian’ forces.

what were the bibles in Afghan language for, eh? and why did they burn them to cover it up
?

right, the christian invaders are in no way christians. it`s just a coincidence that 6 christian countries come together and invade muslim countries.

Im sure if 6 muslim countries came together and invaded a christian country, you wouldn`t associate them with islam either. why? Because christians are not hypocrites!!!

What´s wrong with sharing a bible? A muslim person gave me a Quran in Dutch, and I thought that was a nice gift.... I didn´t think anything bad of it.

And I´m just saying that if you say ALL British soldiers are bad, you´re not saying anything about Christian soldier in particular, since not ALL British soldiers are Christian. It´s simple reasoning, my love.

they feel insecure at the sight of something alien. they take it as an offence and attack to their religion.

basically everything or anything can stir a problem. if a foreigner gives a book or a picture it may be taken as an invasion.

they are very very insecure! full of complexes mixed with fear, pride and prejudice.

hahaha, now we learn that those bibles translated into the Afghan language were just supposed to be a kind gift from the super kind christian soldiers to the Afghans.

It`s apparent that christian should work more on rhetoric{#emotions_dlg.lol_fast}

Like I said before... I´m not a Christian...so it isn´t Christian rethoric when I apply some rethorics. So, should I distrust the Muslim who gave me a Quran?
