oh boy you have never been desperate otherwise you would understand them desperate women need love, and love is known to be blind.

Love? I don´t think there is love or whatsoever involved. Now I am not a resort-dwelling person but I have heard some stories and watched a few of those dudu documentories on British TVs. The only thing I see is some almost teenager guys approaching ladies and telling your eyes are beautiful/ you are sweet etc. Probably followed by a totally meaningles balım/aşkım period of text messages and phone conversations which go down in flames after they can no longer supply the money.

Those women look so sad and desperate they are just trying to dump their emotional baggage on whoever looks at them for more than 5 seconds. This isn´t love, this is desparation incarnate. I don´t hate them, I sympathize with them, I feel sad for them but at the same time I can not respect them and I am angry to see people degrading themselves that much. I don´t know what to feel, in fact I don´t know why the hell I am writing deranged stuff about them in the middle of the night. This whole thing is so disturbing I feel like bashing my head into the monitor and die before I see even more deranged stuff..Oh God humanity is lost...

so go ask those women about it, and they will say they found LOVE, even if it is only for a week of vacation only and if that animal got a child, then how? by raping that woman who gave a birth to the child? i´m not sure he had to rape her...probably the woman thought it is love or smth and yes you are right, humanity is lost, for at least 20-30 years already.

Yeah, of course none of this has anything to do with "love", but (judging by our translation requests) a lot of those women believe there´s love in it.. {#emotions_dlg.confused} I think that the problem is in how we raise boys and girls.. we TELL little girls that this is what love is! And we don´t tell them what kind of world boys/men live in and what THEY mean by love..

I really dont understand women who believe in and trust such men, especially in resort areas.

I am sure this man still dating with other women who are not aware of things. I hope ministry of tourism prevents such people that work in these places.

I didn´t read anyplace that the women he exploited believed in, and trusted him.  He is a human trafficker, plain and simple.  He is a 21st Century Slave Trader.  Who knows how he got these women to comply with his wishes? Have you ever heard of date rape drugs?

I could not read the article, so I don´t know the particulars of this case, but from what it seems, he is a beast. From looking at the photo, he appears to have used a lot of anabolic steroids.

I think Western women have a very naive regarding their vulnerability.  They go out to bars and drink with people they don´t know, put themselves in very dangerous situations.

Human trafficking is a serious problem and it is all over the world....be careful!  I seriously hope Turkish authorities takes some action regarding this animal.

He only received 7, 5 years... which is nothing. I hope Turkey can also send him to prison, and for longer. Turkish prison is a better punishment than Dutch prison.

WAT?? 7,5 years? I didn´t know the Netherlands were importing judges from the Spanish Union of Socialist Judges or something like that.

What´s wrong with the justice courts today? Just for multiple (and proved) rape charges that beast should be sentenced to life WITHOUT parole, all his assets should be confiscated by the State, and I would also strip his paternity rights.

I hope he gets 50 years in a Turkish prison, preferrably one stocked with dangerous sexual perverts and sadistic guards.

This guy is not a typical dudu. He doesn´t sell his own body to a well-off woman for "credit" or "money to pay his father´s hospital bill". This guy and his gang targets young, insecure women. He gives them some attention, a bit is enough to get their interest. And then the ´project´ starts... let´s see how sure this woman is of herself?  A woman who has certain self-confidence will see what he is trying to do fast enough, and get out before the violence starts...and it starts fast, believe me. Guys like this work all around the world. How do you think 18 year old girls end up "behind the windows"? Now we have at least one of those guys identified, and we can make sure a LOT of people stay away from him.

This has nothing to do with Marmaris, Kusadasi, Bodrum, etc. This has EVERYTHING to do with the way this guy was brought up. If he had only 1% of respect for women, he would not be able to do this. He sees them as objects, and the poor girls are also being drilled to see themselves as objects, in total state of fear.

We can´t stop this from happening all around the world, but everybody here who sees this guy walking around Turkey will turn around and run very fast, I hope

I didn´t read anything regarding his recruitment process or how he was raised.  The fact of the matter is this man appears to be a psychopath. He could have very nice parents, don´t blame his parents for his actions. Don´t blame the victim, we don´t know how they were recruited.

Vulnerable women.....children and young men need to be warned about the problem.  It can happen to most anyone given the right conditions. The effects of the dehumanization and demoralizing is a big part of the problem.  His victims are stigmatized by society as "whores", making it even harder for them to live healthy lives.

The time a convict has to do in prison in my country is laughable. Rape? 3 years at most (Officially 12 but that hardly ever happens.) Murder? 7 to 10 years is a lot, maximum is life but there are only 35 inmates who got that verdict since the 70s.

Unfortunately, some areas of my country punish people very harshly (death penalty) and other parts punish very mildly (very short prison terms).  What is very scary is that neither punishment style seems to do anything to deter criminal activity.  What can we do as a society?  I don´t really have an answer, but when we do have the criminal locked up, we should do our best to keep it that way for the duration of the sentence.  I am personally tired of having to "show compassion" to criminal animals who show very little compassion for fellow human beings themselves.  This man is a waste of human flesh!

This is unbelievable....

A dangerous criminal on the run after escaping from jail is going to sue the press for publishing his picture.

The man´s lawyer says the photograph published by Dutch media was taken during his client´s wedding behind bars and can´t be used as it is a private image.

The escape of the man, Saban Baran, who is routinely referred to in the press as a violent and dangerous criminal, caused nationwide consternation.

Whilst serving a seven-and-a-half year sentence for his crimes, trafficking women and forcing them into prostitution,  he was given weekend leave to visit his new born baby. During the visit he absconded and has not been seen since.

Saban married in prison with a former prostitute exploited by him. Police sources suggested to the Telegraaf daily that he married her with a view to getting out of prison.

Beatings
Saban and his brother Hassan were found guilty last year of forcing over 100 women into prostitution. The women were branded with tattoos so everyone who laid eyes on them could see that they were "property of" the brothers. The men also hit the women with baseball bats and forced them to undergo breast enlargement operations.

Sylvia, one of Saban´s victims, told RNW, "as soon as we received a customer, Saban or his brother would come inside to take the money, so that I could keep nothing for myself. If we didn´t co-operate, they would use violence."

The photograph in question appeared across Dutch media in the immediate aftermath of Baran´s escape. The man´s lawyer Gerard Spong told the Spits newspaper that there was nothing unusual in his acting on his clients behalf, despite the fact he is on the run,  in regard to the claim about publishing the photo.

The criminal disappeared a week ago - police suspect he may well have returned to his native Turkey.

No home leave in future
As a result of this case, judges will no longer be involved in decisions to allow prisoners out of jail on home leave. The Dutch Justice Minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin was called to the Lower House today to explain why Saban Baran was allowed out of prison on home leave in spite indications he may be planning to abscond.

The minister told parliament that responsibility for the release of Saban Baran lay first and foremost with the judge. Nevertheless, he thinks the Public Prosecution should have done more to prevent his release. In future it will be the prison governor who decides whether prisoners are entitled to compassionate leave, under direct responsibility of the justice minister. In response, a prison directors´ association says, prison directors do not have enough time to consider whether or not prisoners are entitled to compassionate leave.

When I read the name of Baran´s lawyer I wasn´t surprised anymore. Gerard Spong, a lawyer who will defend anyone with loads of money no matter what they did (but is not available for criminals without a lot of cash!). He defended Bouterse, president of Surinam, accused of the 1980 December killings. Typical: Spong himself is half-Surinam.... (and Bouterse very loaded).
