I was studyining turkish for 3 years ago but mu level when I was check it is 83% accordinig to this site
(I have been studying Turkish for 3 years, but according to this test I only get 83% correct.)
http://www.turkishlanguagecenter.com/languageschool/Turkish_test.html
but mu translation or my writing is not accurate how much years I will learing to become perfect.
(But my translations or written Turkish is not accurate. For how many years must I learn to become perfect?)
thanks in advance
Really I HOPE TO BE PERFECT IN TURKISH LANGUADE
You will have to practice a lot more
Sadly most of us will never be perfect in another language, but it is more important that we can communicate.
I was waiting to see your Turkish answers to Abla´s suggestions below.
Some are hard, but you need to try, and you will learn by trying.
Quoting Abla
Don´t worry. I feel the same. All the time.
Maybe I belong to the old union but in my opinion you should try to produce language even though it is difficult in the beginning. Translate small things from Turkish and into Turkish. Sharpen your pencil, tie your hair tight and sit nicely like a schoolgirl. Leave the songs to the end of the day when work is done.
If you don´t have special Turkish grammar excercises actually anything will do. Find your old school English books and try to say the simple sentences in Turkish. A simple Google search with "translate" and "from English" brought a lot of results. I copied some for you:
- It costs 99 euros and 50 cents.
- I don´t have a cat.
- Look at the clock!
- I wear shoes.
- I am making a cake.
- I´m reading a book. OR I read a book.
- I´m reading books. OR I read books.
- We are reading newspapers.
- Did you drive a car?
- Have you got a car?
- I did not close the door.
- I can use this machine.
- I wear jeans sometimes.
- I bought the one-kilo-weighing apples.
- The houses and the fences have been painted.
- Houses and roads have been mended in this region.
- I took the items. Then I took the liner and some tools with me.
- I saw the Swedes and the Norwegians about whom you told in my workplace. I also saw real Spaniards there.

3. Were you reading a newspaper? 4. I read a newspaper.
5. We listened to the long speech.
6. Do you have the money?
7. Does he/she have (some) money?
8. I need (some) paper.

7. I bought the computer and the carpet. I bought the computers and the carpets.

Nifritty, you learn 3 years or 30 years , makes no difference if you cant put what you learnt into practice. I agree with Henry and Abla..You need PRACTICE ! Assuming that you know most of Turkish grammar, at least tenses..you need to start from the very begining..You can try Abla´s sentences to translate..
If I was you I would start from the verb basic structures such as ;
1. Ben öğrenciyim
Ben 30 yaşındayım.
Benim adım ......
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Questions;
Sen öğrenci misin ?
Sen kaç yaşındasın ?
Senin adın ne ?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
and then start from Progressive tense ;
3. Ben okula gidiyorum.
Ben çay içiyorum.
Sen televizyon seyrediyorsun.
O kitap okuyor.
Onlar yazı yazıyor[lar].
etc......................
and the more you practice the more things will sink into your mind.
You can start it and we all can help you ...Never give up...you will be fluent in Turkish one day .insallah..

I made some of them for you. I hope there is not too much to correct in my corrections…
· It costs 99 euros and 50 cents. O fiyet 99 euro ve 55 cent.
Fiyatı 99 avro 55 sent. (fiyat + poss 3rd sg ‘its price&rsquo
· I don´t have a cat. Ben kedi var yok
Bir kedim yok. (kedi + poss 1st sg ‘my cat’; var ‘there is’, yok ‘there isn’t)
· Look at the clock! Bak saatta
Saate bak. (word order, as a beginner place the verb to the end; bakmak takes dative, but notice that saat exceptionally breaks vowel harmony)
· I wear shoes. Ben ayak kapı giyiyorum.
Ayakkaplarını giyiyorum. (sg. ayakkabı, pl. ayakkapları because it’s a compound noun actually, accusative ending because it is the object of the action)
· I am making a cake. Ben Börek yapıyorum .
Bir pasta yapıyorum. (börek is more like a pie, I guess; Remember indefinite article)
· I´m reading a book. Ben bir kitap okuyurum
Bir kitap okuyorum. (a small typo only; forget about ben all the time, use it only when in need)
· We are reading newspapers. Biz gazte okuyoruz.
Gazeteler okuyoruz. (plural in the English translation)
· Have you got a car? Sen araba var musun?
Bir araban var mı? (bir undefinite article; araba + poss suff 2nd sg; The possessive construction is made with the possessive ending, not with personal pronoun.)
· I did not close the door. Ben kapı Kaplımadım
Kapıyı kapatmadım. (kapı + buffer + accusative ending, kapat + negation + past tense + personal ending sg 1st)
· I can use this machine. Ben makine kullanabillerim
Bu makineyi kullanabilirim. (makine + buffer + accusative ending; kullan + potential + aorist suffix + personal ending sg 1st)
________
If you ask me you should go back to the basics. Make five sentences a day only but be prompt. Every suffix and letter is there for a reason. Before you continue you should check at least the noun cases, possessive construction and personal endings of verbs.
The good news is your vowels are mostly in their places (Arabic speakers often have trouble in this.)

Ayakkaplarını giyiyorum. (sg. ayakkabı, pl. ayakkapları because it’s a compound noun actually, accusative ending because it is the object of the action)
Abla, hope you dont mind me doing a tiny correction on this ;
that compound noun should be "ayakkabılarımı"
ayak + kap + ı + lar + ı--> note that "p" changes into "b"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
but in the original sentence we tend to use singular form ;
Ayakkabı [yı] giyiyorum.

I can explain some simple things to beginners but under your supervision only. Grammar is my own field, you know, but Turkish is only theory for me. I don´t use it for anything. That´s why I may sometimes do a difficult sentence correct but stumble in a simple one. There are 60 million native speakers but I don´t know even one of them (except the wonderful natives in this site, of course).

· Look at the clock! Bak saatta
Saate bak. (word order, as a beginner place the verb to the end; bakmak takes dative, but notice that saat exceptionally breaks vowel harmony)
Just an info ;
There are some disharmonic words that are borrowings , most of them from Arabic or French. Such as ;
alkol -ü --> alkolü [ but under normal conditions that should be "alkolu" ]
saat -i ---> sevki [ Uncd that should be "saatı"]
kanaat - i ---> kanaati [ Uncd that should be "kanaatı]

Gazeteler okuyoruz. (plural in the English translation)
· Have you got a car? Sen araba var musun?
Bir araban var mı? (bir undefinite article; araba + poss suff 2nd sg; The possessive construction is made with the possessive ending, not with personal pronoun.)

________
