Merhaba, Hazzel -san, thank you for the translation!Şaşırdım.  Belki siz Japon musunuz?!Bu adamı biliyorum. It was an unexpected answer! And I learned that chestnuts are the most popular things that Turkish cherish in winter.Very interesting.  In Japan they may be baked sweet potatoes(yaki-imo).You may encounter yaki-imo vedors on the street like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Jo7EZsWMIsBy the way, Seninle bir dakika is one of the two Turkish songs I can sing. The other is Benimle Oynar mısın?

Kardan yapmak, siz seviyor musunuz? Beklenmedik mi?
Siz neden olduğunu açıklıyorsunuz.
And I learned that chestnuts are the most popular things that Turkish cherish in winter. <--Sanmıyorum. Very interesting.
In Japan they may be baked sweet potatoes (yaki-imo).

Several months ago I asked for the correction of my Turkish short essay I was planning to use for my first Youtube video.  At last it was completed and uploaded.

Özür dilerim.Sorry for not having responded to the kind messages.I noticed that my Turkish in the video had so many mistakes that I was afraid of coming back to this forum.  Even now my face is blushing......................................Kelowna-sanThank you again for the message.Unfortunately I can´t speak Turkish. I fully realize I´m lacking in vocabulary and accuracy in grammar, and exercise. All the Turkish I know is the one that can be found in the textbook for beginners.I can´t understand a "living" Turkish spoken and written by native speakers.Türçe beklediğimden daha zor.As for the "speech" in the video, I carried a copy of the script that I had corrected in this forum, and tried to memorize it when I took a walk around (walking is good for health, they say, so I walk as often as I can) .  Of course I would walk singing the song, too, ignoring the passengers-by.......................................................................Hazzel-sanThank your again for the message.Yaşadığım şehirde (Tokyo yakınında yaşıyorum) kar çok yağmaz. If it snows 5 cm deep, we are doomed; transportions are halted, passengers-by slip on the pavement... I must clear snow of the road in front of my house, ending up with back pain.I watched Aileler Yarışıyor today, too.A talkative and cheerful "amca" seemed to steal the show.................................................................Eylul W-sanTeşekkür ederim.I don´t know how to respond to the phrase.I wonder if there is a pair of fixed expressions like Hoş geldin. >> Hoş bulduk.Eline sağlık. >> Afiyet olsun.Başın sağ olsun. >> Dostlar sağ olsun. .....................................................................Donekeyoaty-san Thank you for your message with the points!I respect your aspirations.   I was looking for a Turkish proverb for us Turkish learners. Here is one: Çalışmakla her iş biter.
