I do have one question-- I already know the Arabic language, so will Turkish be at least slightly easier for me to learn? I hear that some of the words either share the same roots, or sound quite alike.

Welcome to TLC Yavrum,

Yes,you will find Turkish language easier for you to learn not only regarding words but also grammar
Some words are same and some same in pronouncing but a bit different in meaning,so sometimes it confuse too,so take care
İf you are good at arabic grammar 'nahw' you will find it more easier in Turkish
The only thing you will find it strange at first ...well actually 2 things
Vowel harmony and the sentence order
Vowel harmony wont be a problem to you too once you get it and understand it,my advice start with it by all means
As for sentnce order,
You wont find the Turkish sentence order same neither in arabic nor in english im afraid
The only way to get over it is to read more Turkish texts and you will get used to it.

My only regret when i started learning Turkish, that i wasnt really a big fan of arabic grammar...wish i gave it more time when i could !

Dont worry, once you gave it time and start, you will find it nice and easy for your logic too, just study.
Good luck, and when ever you need any help dont hesitate to ask, many will love to help you here

Ok,first question,
İ see that there are many conjunctions are similar to the others
So is it a personal prefrence when to use each one ?!
Like
Ama,Lakin,Halbuki,yalnız...but
Veya,YAHUT,ya da...
Or each has its own pereferable usage ?!

Second,
How do we form sentences from
GEREK...GEREK - GEREKSE- ...
...OLSUN...OLSUN
İSTER...İSTER...
Do they came in same sentence ,i mean do we for example use GEREK...GEREK - GEREKSE- in one sentence ,and OLSUN...OLSUN in one sentence...ect ?
How ?

Third,
Regarding to "öyleyse" and "demek ki"

Can we say,its preferable that we use imparitive with öyleyse and use 'malı ' suffix with demek ki ?

Being English i do believe that the Queen is well aware of people and also have to say that i think of all the Royal Family she is the only one.

On the subject of Diana. The royal family knew of his affair with Camilla well before they married and they just use her to produce an heir to the throne and this was totally wrong, but on the other hand she became a very manipulative person and use this very well to get her own back. I was not a fan of hers, but this is my opinion.

Haa,i have never thought about it this way, thank you christine
İ guess once a foreigner will always be a foreigner after all.

So who do you prefer ?
She or Charles ?!
İ've heared that she is waiting to do it for Prince Harry not Charles, true ?!

A very strange question
Is monarchy about a preference?

Everything has preference,even monarchy
Dont you have personal opinions ?
Then you also have personal prefrences

OYSA
DEMEK Kİ
YAHUT
NİTEKİM
HALBUKİ
BU SEBEPLE
BUNUN ÜZERİNE
KALDI Kİ
OYSA Kİ

BU NEDENLE
HAL BÖYLEYKEN
GEREK...GEREK - GEREKSE- ...
...OLSUN...OLSUN
