Dün gece çok yağmur yağdı alışverişe almayıp çıkdım,ama bu sabah,arkadaşımla çıkıp bazı para harcayacağız .

How would the one we are talking with will get the difference in meaning,and understand i mean to say,i try' not i work,or i study ?
