When in Turkey I would miss:

1. Drop (salty)
2. Bacon (but not smoked!! leave that in Britain please!)
3. English strong tea with a little bit fresh daily milk
4. 'Old Amsterdam' cheese
5. A good freshly brewed coffee instead of all the American coffeebars or Nescafe.
6. HP (fruity or original)
7. Golden Syrup or Dutch sugarsyrup for pancakes and icecream.
8. Raisin-hazelnut-milkchocolate bars imported to holland from Germany for Aldi.


When in Holland I miss:

1. The Turkish breakfast with olives and cheese. FOr some reason Im back into my Dutch pattern of no breakfast at all.
2. Good quality of almonds and pistachio nuts.
3. Maraş icecream (but wihout mastika).
4. Good quality of lambchops.
5. All the spices and fresh fruits and vegetables.
6. Order-kebap They are at your door with good quality of Urfa, Adana, Patlıcanlı kebap, for prices never higher than 10 ytl Who would cook??

Cinq fois deux - Not a very special film in the story itself, but the filming and the way the film was set up (5 times a couple displayed from their split up back to their getting together, so backwards) was very good.

Maybe not in a top-10 though.
